Hey everyone! This journal is for anyone interested in making their own Gobshark [which is an open species], whether it's on your own or a custom from me!
If you'd like to make your own Gobshark, there isn't really any restrictions as I haven't implemented "trait rarities" other than pupils (round pupils are rare) and hobgoblin traits (larger muscular gobsharks that are around 7ft tall). No need to ask permission, the only thing I ask is that if you make one is to show me how it turns out! I'm aware that Gobsharks are pretty plain in design but I really just fell in love with the pointy snouts and goblin ear traits and the whole goblin-like demeanor tbh. It'd be cool to see other gobsharks interacting with each other in the community someday! (however I don't have any cool traits that really make them stand out and say that they're "mine" :'D)
In short:
Creating Gobsharks are okay as long as you do not sell them for profit; trading them is okay.
In cases where you pay for a Gobshark (Adoption, Custom), you may not resell for more than you bought it for.
You're free to use them any way you like as long as it's non-profit.
As for customs, I'm thinking I'll offer different tiers of them:
$35 for a sketched design with colour (no examples currently)
$55 for a sheet that includes clothing or armor design; Examples: Original (nsfw), Brown Goboshark
+$5 for NSFW
If you'd like a custom, please fill out the following form and post below to this journal:
Type of Shark/Patterning: (ex. Tiger shark, spots, etc)
Length and Sharpness of nose: (ex. Long/Skinny and pointy)
Size and Type of ears: (ex. Pointed upwards, droopy ears)
Teeth preferences: (ex. Type of bite [under/over], Fangs, Tusk-like)
Piercings: (ex. ears, neck fin, lip, etc)
Body mods: (ex. gauges in fins, cuts in fins)
Body type: (humanoid, monstrous, muscular, flabby)
Clothing or Armor: (based on setting; ie. Fantasy, Modern)
Colours: (ex. Natural, Warm, Cool, Your own colour palette)
NSFW?: (gender + type of genitalia)

I will do them in the order of receiving them and will reply to the comment to confirm. I'd like to use these sharks in a "character creation" section of my portfolio, so I will be doing these ahead of other commissions if I get any.

Additional Info: One of the bigger males in the species, a mountain around most. He's not as smart as the other gobsharks but he does well in his occupation as a bodyguard. He's grumpy and angry 99% of the time.
As for pose that is up to you expression wise I'd like him to be stern. Serious.

Body mods: Scar this badboy up. Tears, teeth marks, yanno!
Body type: Humanoid/monstrous, I won't be super disappointed either way, big 'n burly in whatever direction, monster or human!

Additional Info: Manic, high energy, sinister, always plotting, a big ole burly plotter! Don't be afraid to go ugly mug with his mangled self. I am so good with designs with a lot of 'character.'

Teeth preferences: Very prominent, always showing like a shark’s do but more kaiju like
Piercings: Very into piercings, three on the bridge of her nose, one barbell, two horned barbells. One on the top of her left brow ridge (where the eyebrow would be if she had one). Random horned barbells and hook piercings in her fins. Oh and at the tip of each droopy ear!
Body mods: Scars, rough patches, she’s been through a lot so go nuts!
Body type: MUSCLES, big buff babe who can dance like a man, smol but swol, a bit of a belly/muscle gut. I do really want her to be short and small but buff!
