Hi! My name is Jen. I was formerly Gen (Akagen, Oxygen) here on FA. Even though I've always liked keeping the same profile on sites to show how long I've been active, I have begun transitioning, and to distance myself from misunderstandings, and to go by my preferred name/pronunciation, I have made this new account. Please bear with me as I upload content to this profile. I will try to stay away from much of the same content previously on other profiles- but some things I like may reappear.
Until recently I worked at a retro video game store, and apprenticed at a tattoo shop three doors down from it. When I came out, I was met with mostly positive and friendly attitudes. Except for from the two people in charge. As a result, I needed to leave both my job and my apprenticeship. Over the period of time I was working these places 7 days a week, I didn't post ANY art on FA. So I have a bit of a backlog of tattoo art and photos to post. To see those, please check out my other FA, Desflat. There I post custom hats I paint, as well as my tattoo work. For furry stuff and more, general/mature/adult will be posted on here.

So I in no way wanna punish everyone for the actions of the owner. My former co-workers at both places were pretty great. Luckily most of the people at the game store only work one day a week for the discount, and have better paying jobs. But the manager Roman works full time, and despite having our arguments about stuff in the past, he was very good with using the proper name and pronouns while I was still there. It just so happened that the owner didn't want me called by the proper name or pronouns, or wearinf "feminine" clothing. And then he said the thing that made me leave. But I don't want to punish those that were kind to me as well.
