Adoptable TOS

By purchasing a design from me, you are agreeing to these terms.
Purchasing
- If you are interested in a design, comment on the submission to claim.
- I will then confirm the purchase, mark the adoptable as HELD, and send you a paypal invoice. If you do not pay within 48 hours of receiving the invoice, I will put the adoptable back up. Once you pay, the adoptable will be marked as SOLD.
- I will then send you the unwatermarked design via note.
- At present, you may purchase as many adoptables as you'd like, including entire pages.
- I retain the right to not issue refunds.
- I will occasionally buy back designs, though, so don't be afraid to ask if I might want it back!
Open/Non-original Species
- You MAY alter anything about the design in subsequent art.
- Please do not alter the original art.
- Please credit me with the design whenever you post the original art of the design.
Closed Species
- If a species is marked as a Closed Species, you MAY NOT create a character of that species without explicit permission from me.
- Please credit me with the species and design whenever you either post the original art of the design, or new art for the design made by yourself or other people.
- You may not alter the design without approval, unless it is very minor, such as non-permanent cosmetic changes that could feasibly be done by the character (haircut, painted nails, accessories, etc.)
- Please do not alter the original art.
Reselling/Trading
- You may trade for other designs.
- Please do not resell a design for more than you paid for it, unless it includes art.
- Do not scalp (purchase with the intent to resell at an unreasonably higher price) or auction off designs.
- If you see someone reselling one of my designs for excessive or unreasonable prices, please notify me!
- Note me if you are reselling or trading a design. Please include who you have sold it to so I can have an easier time keeping track of owners of my closed species!
- If you resell or trade, please link the buyer to this journal.
General
- I retain the right to ban anyone from owning my designs. If this happens, I will post a public blacklist.
- I retain copyright to all designs. However, I will only use the design for promotional reasons, such as advertising customs.
- You may use the original art of the design in non-commercial art (such as icons, graphics, RP posts, etc.), so long as it is credited.
- Please do not draw feral characters in adult artwork, or humanoid characters in adult artwork where the character is intended to be underage.
- Do not use the character design in commercial projects or artwork, such as webcomics, pay sites, tee-shirts, products, etc.
- You may not co-own designs.
I may make changes to this TOS at any time and with no notice given.
