Incoming news from Generation Fur Studios. Looking for programmers and artists for a project that shall soon begin.
It is an app game for Android and iOS called Dot.Hack World.
It is going to be played out like Ingress and Pokémon Go, except you gonna be collecting data as you walk and also hack to download data from certain points of high values.
Certain points of high values?
To make it easier to understand, you will target buildings of companies that are very profitable (like McDonalds and such) and the more profitable they are, the more data there is to download.
You will have to watch out though as others will be able to hack you and steal your data, so you got to find terminals to upload the data at.
Terminals to upload the data at?
Yes, the data is your score and currency. At the start you will only be able to download certain amount of data at a certain rate, but as you progress with collecting data you will be able to buy upgrades to your storage and download speed.
You will also be able to use the currency to buy protection to slow down hackers trying to steal your data, or even "wiretap" them without them knowing.
Wiretap?
It is a sneaky feature to counter-download the hacker's own data and is worth double the amount.
However, they might have a protection against wiretapping attempts, which will cancel the download on both ends.
This sounds amazing! When can I expect to see this being launched?
Well, we are still gathering programmers and artists, but we might start a Kickstarter to see how much others are willing to donate for this to happen.
But one goal is to at least get 10,000 US-dollars of support.
