I am Trans
Hello all. I think it's about time to let you all know about this.
A few of those who've been following me for a good while now may have wondered about this if they've been reading my profile info and noticing the changes.
To others, this may come as a surprise.
The reason that my username on here is Ben_Whiteclaw and my IRL name is listed as Sophia is due to a decision that took a long time and a lot of thinking to get to. But one I am 100% sure of. It's a decision I made well over a year ago.
Biologically speaking at the moment, I am male. However - I've always felt that my body is just... Wrong... I've wanted, since I was very young - to be a girl. To be female. As that's what I feel I am in terms of my personality and who I really am inside as a person. As such, I'm currently undergoing the long process of gender reassignment. (I'm currently pre-op, as I alluded to earlier.)
I already identify more publicly as a woman and many who know me, know me as a woman now. Be they old friends, or new.
That being said, not many have known this about me until now - and I apologise to those who feel I should've told them.
Thank-you to all my friends and family who've supported and are continuing to support me throughout this time in my life.
To anyone who has known me as Ben, I would ask you to refer to me as Sophia now if at all possible - and I'd ask that people use female pronouns to refer to me too.
Thank-you to all those who took the time to read this ^-^
It means a lot to me.

To be honest, yeah... I guess it WAS a bit of a surprise... but not that much really! I never knew you are (or used to be) male, although the name Ben was a bit unusual haha!
I don't mind at all who you choose to identify as - you're still the same person!
-Blissy.
I'm here for you, every step of the way~
Heh, I'm still shaking!
I remember when i made my post saying i wished to be referred to as Natasha and all, people didnt seem to like it for the most part because many still called me by my ex-character's name 'kuna' (i HATE being called that now btw, bad stuff)
but yeah, i remember my experience of doing this too
-
anyway, here's to still talking to eachother though you havent responded in a while xD (i think over a month now since we did our serious talks)
and also to transitioning
not sure you even care i support you or if you even consider me a friend, but i do mean that i am supportive, same with my trans friend who i helped connect to you for help for her too ^^
(My phone seems to have a thing for putting your whole name in capitals xD)
You already knew of my support before all this anyway. Like i said, if you remember the talks like i do, you'll know for sure. I haven't opened up to anyone like you and Cora before on this topic.
(hey, shout my name, i like it :P)
-
my 'birth name' btw, fun fact: when i hear it being said offline and in public etc. I HATE it, i dont even respond to that name by this point xD i don't recognise it as MY name (it really isnt)
my name, is Natasha/nat/whatever other nickname ^^
I know I keep saying it - but thank-you so, so much yet again for all your support Kitchiki!
Stay strong. Not an easy transition as you know.
It's a long road ahead - but one that's worth the distance.
Consider me an ally if I may.
I had no no idea you were trans but I've been following your stuff for a while now, and i just want to express how? Full my heart is right now. I am so, SO happy for you. You've been nothing but a sweet, wonderful woman to follow and I am 100% supporting you! <333
<333
That is so awesome!
I appreciate your support very much indeed!
LGBT fur life! (btw I'm gay)
Well, then...Sophia, it's good to know that you've made up your mind. Best of luck in this new chapter of your life. And don't worry, I have a feeling that FA will be very supportive (if all these other dozens of comments are anything to go by).
Thank-you for your words of support! ^-^
It's a long road ahead. But one I am happy to be walking. ^-^
Thank-you so, so much Lu! I couldn't have gotten to this point without the support of you and my friends!
<3
Awwwww, thank-you. ^///^
Thank-you as well for your kind words of support!
