That this website shouldn't be my whole life.

You all know who I am, the guy you see around this website so much. The one who faves a lot, comments a lot and has a big old journal filled with artists that are open for commissions and need help from this community.
Here's the thing, I've been going to this website nearly ALL DAY EVERY DAY. I try to make sure to stay on top of everything like faves, comments and reading journals. But people change and so have I. This routine of going on FA in the morning, afternoon and night is just not healthy. I've sort of become a slave to this place, it always calls me to get on and do my thing.
In fact many years ago and up until recently this website is the reason why I don't hang around with my family so much or go out as much, even though I am a homebody at times. Because I don't want to disappoint you all, I always imagine that if I miss an hour or two of FA that people will notice where I've gone, why haven't I faved this or commented. Also my advertisement journal is a big part of why I need to stay on top of things.
But that needs to change. I will still advertise all those artists that need their names out so they can get business. As for the heavy faving and commenting, that's gonna have to stop. Maybe one or two here, besides I tend to repeat myself when commenting on different works of art.
I mean if a lot of you can take a break from this place, then I should too. I can't be on this website all the time. I hope many of you understand. <3

Thanks for understanding. I know I just watched you again recently, but, I will try to maintain a presence here. Just trying not to do everything here. ^^;
What I do is check FA few times a day for short intervals, or sometimes just at night to catch up with the day. That works for me and maybe it'd work for you. Whatever works, we'll support what you decide. Your health, both mental and physical, is more important than Fur Affinity. That goes for every single person on the site, whether they've got fur, skin, or scales.

We all understand that you need to take care of yourself and not neglect anything for the sake of mass faving or commenting etc
I used to do that a long time ago on DeviantART then put a stop to it as things in to were getting bad so I stopped.

Do what’s best for you, take a step back, see people, and only comment and favourite when you feel okay to do so.

advertising is very kind, but I want more than anything for you to have
a life to enjoy. You can easily reduce what you do, comment on things
you really want to comment to. You have been amazing, and always will be.

There is no need to comment under every journal, picture etc. We are more than happy if You just sitck around and view arts You enjoy and if You want to keep advertising all the wonderful artists of this site - then You still are the god of FA :)
It will feel weird to not see you around anymore ngl. I was used to your regular friendly comments, you know kinda like that neighbor who says hello to you every day when you pass by their porch^^
But you shouldn't have to apologize for doing this. Your life and well-being are far more important than giving favs and comments to people on the internet.
You were the light we all needed. The support we thought we never had. We will be here to love, support, and hold you when needed.

The lure to check back in and see what you're missing, to follow just one more conversation or reply to one more post, can be overwhelming. Its good to break away from that, get out and see the "real world", talk to folks face-to-face. You know, to spend time in a real life and not a virtual one.

There’s a lot of paths one could take with this, I understand people are changing and would like to pursue different things and a way of living. Honestly what you’ve been doing is super inspiring and you’ve been(and still are)a very valuable member of this community, you’ve helped a lot of people and done many a good things.

Life's changed so much you have probably noticed I post less journals, less art and closed up shop as far as commission. I just use this place for fun now and doing work I want to do. But life has changed so much this year I've been going out and doing so much.
And I really want you to enjoy that life too if that's what you want. Be a casual. I am. Go out with family and friends enjoy life. Please. Those things are so precious and I think I speak for most of us when I say we don't want you to miss out on them! We appreciated your input DEFIANTLY. But not at the cost of you missing out on other things in life.

-Sorry to hear that something like art/artist appreciation became a chore and started to suck all of your time up (hull I get that feel at times even from just working as a freelancer in art/have to balance how much I browse to inspire verses actually working, etc \|S ) Doesn't surprise me to hear you were feeling a bit shackled n run down over it seeing as I see you absolutely everywhere! [which is super sweet of you, as I think I've mentioned before also!]
But yeah, should never feel obligated to bleed out over it though! (and don't believe anyone would ever ask of you more than you can reasonably spare and /want/ to give!) .. . .. and if anyone ever is.. then they are being unreasonable themselves! X>

it's like any hobby- if it takes over your life, you can still do it but have to be more critical with when how and how much
It's time to take care of you though and maybe if you come back limit the time to x amount of hours spread over the day and plan for rest and other activities. Your health should always come first!
Look after yourself man, we appreciate your love and support and I'm sure that support won't ever stop, no matter how long you spend on this site. You need time for yourself and your friends and family, too!

Of course it's okay to get out of here. Real life is always more important than the digital one and your family, your life goes first.
Take care of them, they are far more precious. Maybe, if it is too difficult, take slowly short breaks and do it more and more often.
