While AtheistFurs as more a philosophical discussion think tank plus artwork and icon development. Flames live here, leaving the ‘Indignant’ list clear.

The ‘Indignant’ label may expose more emotion than desired, so discussion on a name optimization might, ironically, be hosted on the ‘furs’ list.

But, your group, your choice. You asked for ideas.

Unfortunately I've been rather absent recently what with having the images I posted removed and starting a new job I've been I lost some of the zeal i had before... I too am open to any ideas to make things happen however I fear whatever we do will not achieve much here on FA as the admins are too worried about upsetting the godheads... maybe we should try and get a site going somewhere else if anyone would be interested in taking on the burden.

i can be described as a "new atheist" which takes a hard stance against religion. i will try to ensure to end my rants with "this is my personal feelings, i am not a spokesman for any group"

I might suggest finding folds who have joined and have them start posting art. When you post art to an account if of course show up on the main page and thus more people who like the art that's posted would happen upon this group as well. Other than that, have group members post journals on their own pages regarding things that this group is doing. Post journals on this page or blog about interesting topics relevant to the group.

My feeling is that there are many who enjoy the company of like-minded people, so post stuff on the page relevant to that. Have everybody contribute something, like a relevant article for the journal, or a piece of visual or written art to share. The art, I'm thinking, need not be necessarily relevant to atheism, but perhaps the gallery could simply become a place where atheist furs can enjoy each other's art work and comment on it.
