Hi everyone, it's been a while. I am still recovering from 2022 and the pandemic.
I lost everything when my fiance traded all we had together for meth and alcohol.
My emotional, mental, physical, and financial state of being was completely destroyed.

It's absolutely been a struggle, but I'm taking it all back. I miss my family in the fandom. 💓


I want to give all my love to my bun, Flapjack, who gave me a place to stay,
and all the unconditional love and support that is a staple in our fandom.
He's brought back so much genuine happiness into my life.
I am so grateful for all he has done to help me smile again. 💞

I want to give all my gratitude and thanks to everyone who helped me -
from words of encouragement, to being there in person, to sending me financial support -
it has all blown my mind. I've always witnessed our fandom helping others without hesitation,
I never thought I would be on the receiving end, and it truly makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE ❤️



I've been giving a lot of thought to how I want to do 2025, and I really want to take back control on EVERYTHING.
I want this to be the last time I bring up my late-fiance and what he did.

I'm going to take back my social, mental, physical, and sexual wellness and finally ditch the past
8 years of emotional baggage and move forward and enjoy life.

I'm going to stop worrying about what my religious family and relatives might think about me.

I need to be more responsible about my health / diabetes / aging and get back to the doctors on a regular schedule,
get a physical, get checked for cancers, despite how much I don wanna.

I want to make anxiety and claustrophobia my bitch and get control of my subconscious and anger.

I want to go to more events in the fandom, including puppy play again.

And most of all, I want to draw more!!!

On August 30th, 2022 my best friend and love of my life,  Pegalis passed away.

He was found dead of an accidental drug overdose of meth and alcohol. I am gutted and in shock.
That is not him. It makes no sense at all, but he kept a secret life from me it turns out.

Our home and car was only in his name, and we were not yet married so I have no claim to anything.
I worked for him so I am also without a job.

I am hanging on. Friends are with me 24/7 and giving me a place to stay.

The outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming.

Hey there everyone...

So this is really difficult for me to word, but last Sunday night a friend ended his life.

I'm working through brain fog, doing what I can to be there for those who were closest to him, and take care of the hurt and confusion in my household and my family of friends.

It is.... it is so hard to .... understand why. The deja vu I have to my Sir taking his life last year around this time is ... I'm sorry I'm having a hard time processing things.

Hey everyone,

I've been suffering from carpal tunnel in both wrists since Febrary, and being unable to draw,
text, type, cook, etc has been really hammering me down along with the quarantine.

I discovered that by jamming my tablet pen into my wrist brace and placing my tablet
upright as if it were a canvas on an easel, I've been able to (slowly) digitally color!

It has been extremely therapeutic to create again and be a part of my fandom in some way.
Also I make sure to do A LOT of stretching, that has been absolutely instrumental.
I make sure to place my phone onto something, and not hold it while using it.
I just have to relearn how to do things but not use my thumbs, and I wear my wrist braces 24/7.

I'm hanging in there.

My boyfriend's vaccination side effects continue to come back a week after they recede.
It's basically been an ebb and flow of side effects for 22 weeks now.

I took him to urgent care last Sunday for the 6th time since this all started in March.
I was not allowed to go with him past the waiting room because of Covid restrictions, and I just broke down sobbing.
He's back home now, but is exhausted and sleeping 20+ hours a day.

BTW THIS IS NOT ME SAYING TO NOT GET VACCINATED!
MY BF & I FEEL EVERYONE SHOULD GET VACCINATED.
THIS IS JUST A 1-IN-2-MILLION CHANCE & WE WANT TO HELP OTHERS GOING THRU THE SAME THING.

One lining of hope is we got this from our online medical care team:

"Sorry for the delay. I heard from Neurology. It sounds like this could be a post vaccine reaction which the neurologic symptoms will resolve with time."

So for me I'm just hoping this won't last into next year.
We're managing things a day at a time, but...the stress and cracks are beginning to show.
Being able to "draw" again has been a much-need morale booster.

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.

So after 6 weeks of neurological side effects, my boyfriend is almost "back to normal".
His eyes are still slightly bouncy & unfocused at times but he's a 9 on a 1-to-10 scale.
We're absolutely exhausted and relieved he's breathing normally, no vertigo, no tremors.
We were so scared and were starting to make end-of-life arrangements.

Hey everyone, I wish I could word things a bit better, but here's the situation...

April has been HELL. One week after my boyfriend, Pegalis, got his first Moderna vaccine shot on March 26th he developed neurological side effects:

Vertigo, eyes wouldn't stop "nodding", high blood pressure, shallow breathing, arms/hands/neck trembling.
We've been to urgent care 4 times, specialists 2 times, 3 doctors...I'm beginning to loose count.
He's had an MRI, x-ray, blood tests, more tests, but everything comes up as normal and the doctor's are saying something is wrong,
but they can't figure it out, or it's misdiagnosed and he's given a pill to take.

We were absolutely terrified he was going to die. Each day got worse. Doctors were baffled and would give conflicting diagnosises.
I couldn't be with him in urgent care, I've only been able to be with him during blood tests and when seeing the specialists.

After 3 weeks we were told about friend of a friend who had similar symptoms (he had the Pfizer vaccine).
He said his lasted for 2 weeks, but are still slightly around. He directed us to the different online links.

Currently, after 4 weeks, Pegalis' symptoms are FINALLY backing off. He doesn't tremble, breathing is better, blood pressure is down,
can focus his eyes more but they still bounce and are still difficult to focus. He made a video of what his eyes do:

THANKFULLY he was never nauseous, hearing was fine, no pain, mind was active and aware. Not a stroke/heart attack/MS.
We're absolutely exhausted, also beyond relieved symptoms are backing down. Was beginning to prepare end of life arrangements.

On the plus side we're able to have time together, we just didn't think it would be in this way.
However we have been doing a lot of driving and spending time outside, going places, and keeping our spirits and support for one another high.
He still is teasing me mercilessly and has had this incredible positivity throughout all of this that has me in complete awe.
He's absolutely one of a kind, and I'm so grateful to share our lives together.

I'm not saying don't get vaccinated, I'm just wanting to put this out there in case anyone has gone through similar side effects like this.
Half the doctors ignored and passed this off as something else. YOU HAVE TO BE FIRM AND BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE.
It took us several visits to urgent care to be taken seriously. Yes, we're all still learning new information about the virus and the
vaccinations and we've never encountered anything like this before, but this applies to anything. Don't be complacent, don't be silent.

I got a call from my father, hospice care says my mother has about 1 or 2 weeks left.
Going to fly out to help my father and my family and I'm expecting to be there for a month.
I won't be able to post any artwork until I return in September,
but when I do I also intend on making a progress list of my commissions available on my websites and on Trello.

I'm doing as well as I can be and will stay in communication as best as I can.
I still plan on enjoying life, being grateful for what I have in it,
love my friends and those close and meaningful to me, and be positive and upbeat.

Take care of yourselves and make sure those you love know it. Life is too short to put things off.
