Our sheet is tucked in at the bottom of the bed to protect the bed from long toenails. We sleep with our own blankets, so we don't need the sheet.

That's only 4 years younger than I am

The big ones for this year is get my apartment in order and to finally start taking caring of myself.

For years I worried to much about the well being of others and when I did that my health began to suffer. I was willing to let people live in my apartment when all it did was stress me out. This last roommate we had stressed me out so much I gained over 40lbs trying to comfort myself with food. Also because of my depression I wasn't doing any cleaning and my apartment has been slowly coming together. It's just hard when I have two jobs.

Starting today Stryker and I will begin working out at the Dakotah Sport and Fitness Center. It has fitness equipment, a pool, cardio machines, weight training, yoga, pilates, a gym, track, and racquetball courts. I am totally looking forward to it, because even though we pay $75 a month, we will be using the facility as often as we can.

Wish me luck you guys. Once I have lost a decent amount of weight it will be easier for me to suit, move around, and get more stuff done after work. I hate being so lazy. *Big Hugs to all my friends*

Yes, I am playing World of Warcraft again and I am loving every minute of it. Why did I stop it?

Well yesterday was the Halloween Haunt at Valleyfair and I have to say the day was fun, but I didn't get as big a turnout of people as I had hoped. I got a group of 5 though, so that made for a decent haunted maze group. TheSonicGod picked me up around 6pm and we made it to the park at about 6:30. We went through the vampire du chateau first and found that I was a little more skiddish seeing as one vampire had fun scaring me more than once. We also got a good number of spins on the tilt a whirl.

While waiting for food we were joined by Laurus, Aerak, and their friend. So as a group we went through a few more mazes and on a few more rides. Found out though that I am really afraid of chainsaws, because in Camp Wikielou they had a guy pop out of the wall with a chainsaw and it scared the crap out of me. Also the mazes were still hard to get through thanks to fog, darkness, and strobe lights.

Sorry if we missed anyone at the park. Hope you all had fun.

I think it's still there. Had some nausea and pain in my kidney today meaning it is still there. I thought it had moved past the kidney with all the pain down south and all the peeing I was doing, but it seems that I am wrong. Now I understand how much of a "pain" they can be. I hates it.

Hello my watchers and friends. So those at Furmeet witnessed me being in a lot of pain and crying over the fact that it hurt. Well after an interesting drive to the hospital and having violent "dry heaving" attacks it was concluded that I did indeed have a kidney stone. I feel much better today, but my throat still hurts from all the hacking I did. My other big problem was that the hospital bed was so uncomfortable. I moved around a lot which made the whole thing worse.

Today I stayed home from work and just slept from 3am to 3pm. I may go back to sleep in a bit, but I needed some awake time. I didn't mean to frighten anyone and driving through town at 10 at night was slightly scary especially when a semi comes close to running us off the road. So don't worry everyone I am fine.


Edit: Well I went back to work today and I managed to do alright saleswise, but the combination of multiple trips to the bathroom and a very sore throat made my day rather miserable. Finally picked up my meds which will help with pain and allowing the stone to pass. A lot of my pain has gone past the kidney and is now centered around the bladder which means it is anxious to pass.

Hopefully this doesn't last much longer, because nothing sucks more than using the bathroom and feeling like you have to go immediately after you finish. Thanks for all the well wishes guys and I will keep you updated.

Today Stryker and I went to Taco Bell and as we walked in we saw two dogs left in a vehicle. One was a springer type and one a black lab. I hoped the owners would be right back out, but it turns out they decided to sit down and eat. I watched the dogs the whole time as they sat and panted since it was well around 90 degrees out and they only had the windows cracked. I felt helpless, because I didn't want to create a scene, because I wasn't sure whose dogs those were at first, and I didn't have a cell phone. Luckily as I watched them a girl in her car circled a few times and wrote down the license plate. Turns out she called the sheriff's department also because as the group was leaving they showed up and made them aware of the situation and that they should never do it again.

I sat at the table watching this and as they left I broke down and started to cry. One because I have heard so many horror stories of dogs and children left in hot cars and because I should have done something, but didn't. As a dog lover and a former dog owner it upsets me when people are reckless with their animals. I would have never left Chester in a hot car like that; not even for 5 minutes. I would make sure someone stayed with him and allowed him to run about or have water out in the parking lot so he didn't overheat.

The whole thing still upsets me and I hope those dogs are never left in the heat again. Everyone knows that Minnesota is famous for its cold winters, but we get hot summers too. I am just glad someone stood up and did something. Just wish I had the guts to stand up and do the right thing. Right now all I can do is spread the word to fellow furries to keep an eye out this summer and help all the puppies and kitties left out in the heat.

The title says it all. It's my birthday and my stomach decided to be stupid and act up. So I have been at home all day sleeping. I was up for maybe an hour when the guy came to look at my dishwasher which needs another soap dish. The spring that opens it has been sprung to the point where half of the tablets doesn't get used. So yeah still going out to exercise tonight with Stryker, but I need to go to a doctor soon and see what is really going on with me since this has been going on for awhile. Blargh!

Today at 10am we put down our family pet Chester. He was 15 years old and could no longer see, hear, or walk very well. He's legs were finally giving up on him. He would be trying to show you some love and his legs would force him into a sitting position, because they just didn't have any strength anymore. I tried my best to stay calm, but after the second injection I just lost it. Chester was and will always be my best friend. I just hope right now he is in heaven having a good dinner after taking a good long run. I know he will be waiting for me when my time comes.

I can't wait to see you again Chester and spend the rest of my afterlife with you.

1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Went to Valleyfair and rode Wild Thing. Man was that scary. Plus this was the first year I went to a Haunted Halloween event and wasn't totally scared. I used to be a big wimp when it came to that type of stuff, but this year it was fun. I found out that fog and strobe lights can be really bothersome though. Oh well. I can't think of anything else I have done. Shame on me.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I know I kept some of them. I have been working harder to clean up the house more often and to make sure Stryker is well taken care of, but I kept falling short on the lose weight resolution. I kept starting it and then get distracted and stop. I hate that. Hopefully in 2012 I can really stick to it and lose a few pounds.

3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
Playing D and D with the guys. It landed on our D and D night, so it will be nice to have the guys over, eating pizza, and trying not to die. I pray Joel doesn't kill us.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My Great Grandma Louise died and one of our old neighbors passed away this year. And there were the few people in the fandom who passed away, but I didn't know them well enough.  Aheria did make my icon and that is why I haven't changed it in a long time.

5. What countries did you visit?
None. I stayed here in the states.

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
Would be nice to upgrade some things. We only managed to get a flat screen tv, because our friend couldn't take it with her when she moved. I would love to buy something bigger. But I need a better job first. I guess more money and more commissions would be nice too. I like feeling busy and without commissions it is hard to feel busy. Buy latchhook from me! JK. I hope I get the job I want.

7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The dates from MFF 11 were good days. It was my first real trip in awhile. If I get the job I want I can start putting aside money for better trips. Also April 23rd, because that is the mark of 2 years since I met Stryker and May 1at marks 2 years of being engaged.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finding out what I was good at artwise. My big thing is Latchhook and this year I got it started. That was a big accomplishment for me. I hope to expand that more in the coming years.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not keeping up with my attempts to lose weight and the constant feeling of getting kicked down as one thing after another went wrong. I won't go deep into detail, but it always seemed that things went bad a lot this year. But there is hope for next year. Wish me luck.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had a scare when I had constant issues with my stomach and thought it might be my gullbladder, but since my insurance went on hiatus I have been unable to go and do anymore checks to see what is wrong. Hopefully I can get that fixed in January also. I hate having to fix things though. Other than that just the typical nicks, cuts, and bruises. Nothing to worry about though. Also had my class ring cut off my ring finger. If had gotten so tight that the muscle wasn't growing so it was time to remove it. I feel so much better now.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I bought a new laptop. My old one got a nasty virus and was 6 years old, so it was time for an upgrade. I am so happy to have it. I also bought a laminator which is so nice to have.

12. Where did most of your money go?
Rent and Bills. I was lucky to get money to play with when taxes came and I got money for Christmas or Birthday. Like I've been saying it will be nice to have a job where I can pay bills, have fun, and save all at the same time.

13. What song will always remind you of 2011?
"Firework" I don't know why, but I like this song. It helps me feel special when I am feeling down.

14. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Exercise. I hate huffing and puffing when climbing up only 2 flights of stairs. *Grumbles*

15. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Constantly worrying. Honestly I can't go a day without worrying about something. It sucks. I wish I didn't worry so, but if I stopped bad things would happen. It sucks so much.

16. What was your favorite TV program?
I had two favorite shows; My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Terra Nova. I love ponies, because duh it's ponies, but Terra Nova combined Dinosaurs and the doom of mankind. It is a great series and I look forward to the second season.

17. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Sad thing is I have people from last year I still hate and some new ones I hate. Mostly, because they are either A.) Creepy or B.) Way to full of themselves. I hate people like that. This is why I keep distant from them and avoid them at all costs.

18. What was the best book you read?
I finished The Last Unicorn. I am starting on the Percy Jackson series right now. I am so excited to read it.

19. What was your greatest musical discovery?
To be honest I'm not sure. I know Stryker got me into quite a few more bands this year. I forget their names though. They were nice to listen to though.

20. What was your favorite film of this year?
I really enjoyed Green Lantern. That is one of the few I can remember seeing in theaters.

21. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
My mom visited before my birthday and left the actual day of. It was Spring Break she had no control over it. I got a Packer Jersey and some other pretty things. I turned 25 this year. 26 is just around the corner.

22. What kept you sane?
My mate Stryker, our roommate, Joel, my grandma, and my mom. All of them have really kept me sane and going on this battle of life.

23. Who did you miss?
I miss my mom. She is a whole state away from me and it does suck when my only way of communicating with her is on the phone. It can be hard. I also miss my dog. He will be put to sleep next month and it is so hard to say goodbye. I love my puppy.

24. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011:
Stay positive. That is all it takes to get by in life. Be positive, cut out all the bad and go with the flow. No need to stress over everything. Also Skyward Sword is the best game of 2011!!!!

Merry Christmas all. At home playing Skyward Sword for the Wii. Man this game is fun. All the new weapons, the controls are decent, and the story is awesome. However I have to clean the kitchen first tomorrow. I hate doing it but I have to do it. Ick! Oh well I can just listen to the 25th Anniversary Symphony Orchestra CD that came with the game. Squee! I tried asking for yarn for Christmas, but it's not right to just ask for something, so I have a new plan. Offer art for yarn.
