Here goes a shout out on my very small piece of the internet, a serious Red Letter Day. Or perhaps a Red letter week. We all go through hard times but it is the resource and strength of all of us to call upon friends, family and community in those times. We support and help other's endure, and in time if we find ourselves equally burdened then it only serves to come full circle.

 twilight-goddess is in need of a lot of help. A peerless artist with immense drive and talent has been having a rough time of it of late. Illness takes its toll on her pup and despite the hurt and sorrow of the situation, bills have mounted and are so often more than we can handle on our own as talented starving artists.

She is in need of any kindness, donation or commission you'd be down to go to her with. Even a little bit helps. Even something as small as a $1 here or $5 there. She is a wonderfully talented artist and a wonderful person besides.

So it seems its time once again to write one of These. Older but again wiser? Perhaps. Its been a long year. Ups, Downs. All arounds.
Many things learned, though not always without a price. Then again, despite however many steps backward, there have been many more forward.
So another year behind and another year to go. I wonder what is to come.

Can't wait. So here is to another 24.

Its been a while since I have been able to write a journal. In any case; onto the important stuff!

 Rukis is presently running an auction, of which most of the profits will go towards  Alectorfencer to help her in her time of trouble. Both are absolutely phenomenal artists who have been working together on an stunning collaborative comic project Red Lantern! Go Check it out on  Rukis's page!

Most of the profits from this auction will go to  Alectorfencer to help her cover her recent health insurance bills, so don't be afraid to bid high! You'd really be helping to support one of the artists behind the comic, and that is *never* a bad thing.

- Finally, the winner will also receive all conceptual sketching done of their character. I do quite a bit of preliminary sketching of all characters of note before they appear in the pages of the comic. So, there's some actual physical art in it for ya, too. . . it's like the cherry on top :)

Unlike the cameo auction for 'Cruelty', this cameo will be more lengthy, in color, and could involve (at your discretion) adult scenes. This will be the *only* cameo spot offered in any volume of this comic to have the option for an adult scene, and the only cameo offered at all, to the public, in this volume.

Winner will be able to choose from the following cameo scenarios

- Male -
- adult scene (and yes. . . it involves Amon ;P)
- action scene

- Female -
- adult scene (involving a male soldier)
- several general scenes inside the Crimson Divine, as one of the girls. Interaction with Amon, Dhaval, and several of the women.

While the auction is certainly to support both the artists in their endeavorer, a large part of this effort is to support  Alectorfencer. Time and again this community bands together to help those in need - artist and admirer alike. It is a great quality of any community, but especially this community.  Rukis's endeavor is certainly a worthy one!

Its been some time, so I thought I'd take another look around.

For some reason in the last couple days there has been an onslaught of new watchers! For what reason I can only imagine - I am no artist, but hey! Its always good to keep an ear to the grind stone with new projects forthcoming. Speaking of new projects... There should be some good stuff coming in the next weeks; Im sure.

But to all of you who do watch, Thank you! Though if anyone should be watched - it should be all those artists who do such great work! So thank them by watching them.

There was the first journal.
So here we go - First, potentially the last journal, knowing me!

In any case, its nice to finally have some time to unwind and relax. Be able to breath a bit without the impending test here or the term paper there.

So I suppose this is an introduction of sorts. I am a student, and an avid lover of art - in all its forms. I'm a dirty nerd. But my dice rolling doesn't seem to clash with my biking and surfing.

Easy going is the name of the game. Being here on this site is a good way to branch out and meet new and interesting people, brilliant artists and the like.
