This is a great piece of artwork, mate... no matter that it took so much of your time, you have every right to be proud of it! Love the little bits of detail like the talons and the small tears in the wing membrane etc...

Hmmm... this will be a long one to explain, I'll try and keep it short and simple

I am a part of an Online Tank Game Called "Think Tanks" http://www.shockwave.com/gamelandin.....thinktanks.jsp

A very fun and addicting game, that I have been a part of for the past 6 years, and i'm currently working on a comic based on this game, to keep a historical archive of all i went through within the game.

Well, I was Leader of the Shadow Army for 3 years (One of the top 3 armies, and also the longest surviving army that still exists).

so, Because I became the proudfull owner of this Army after the previous Leader Passed on the Torch, there came a day in which it was time to find out, how i was going to represent this army, and I decided that it would be a Dragon, A symbol of Power, Strenght, and Nobility. Given that the name of the Army was "Shadow Army," I decided that Black and Purple would be the predominate Colors that would represent our Army.

I drew this, because this is what I feel would represent me best if I was a dragon in real life, I speak 3 languages (hence the 3 heads), I feel i have 3 dominant personalities within me as well

Left head: calm, colected and wise in decission making
Middle head: Ready and waiting, Bring it on!
Right: a little rash in decission making

so in other words, with all 3 conciousnes combined, I'm evened out in a perfect blend

one other thing that I hold this piece very dear to me, is because this marks the turning point of my artistic abilities, never before had I actually tried exceeding my artistic abilities like I did here, nor have I ever dedicated myself to a single piece before Like I did with this one, and... well.. it represents who I am inside

Heh, that's okay - being a writer I can devour tl;dr type posts without difficulty Well you did a bloody good job of it, anyway. And 6 or so years dedicated to a game is rather impressive. Must be quite addicting for you to have stuck it out for so long. Too many artists reach a certain point with their art that they think is okay, but then never push themselves to better it... good to see you're not afraid to push your boundaries. Full credit to you, mate.

The original TF had a very big following also, for similar reasons I think. Irreverent humour and great community atmosphere.

I'd like to imagine that we could make beautiful art together, but with my inate ability to completely wreck anything image related that's probably not such a great idea. But I very much appreciate the offer, it's extremely generous of you!

Mate, there is NOTHING wrong with drawing clean artwork. I know that for many on FA, they worship at the alter of cock and tits, but that cult is not something I adhere to (as you can hopefully tell by a lot of the art I have commissioned). I'll admit that I do like some raunchy stuff, but by and large I'm more interested in the artistic side of things.

And you'd be surprised at the small but dedicated minority of people on FA who think the same way.

So stick to your guns, my friend. I respect you for it.
