I could only find the german intro. now I have to see if the rest is available somewhere else... man, hard SF from the 80's. what's not to love?

I remember the show fondly, and was terribly disappointed that it ended after only a couple of seasons.

still, I'll enjoy watching it again! I hope you can find a source for it!

Ah yes... I remember that original movie flick... Max was played by Matt Frewer. Also did the voice of Panic in Hercules

this is a nice homage, all the same.

if you really want to watch it, it's all on YouTube, it seems.

I just reloved the first couple of episodes. (NO, that is a stupid pun, not a typo.)

Not bad for flat media. You'd need to dial up the specular reflection a bunch to do any better.

Yes I could add more specular highlighting, faux reflections SSS and radiosity, but the point is that Max Headroom was a guy in a lot of makeup because thet couldn't CG a head fast enough for episode production.

So this is trying to hit that faux CG, rubber head look.

The other problem is that a long time ago I picked International Klein Blue as my base colour as a prank - it's out of gamut for monitors - so it's really hard to make shadows pop. It's great if you want everything to look like it was made out of Copper Sulphate crystals though!

I'm a bit biased about the color blue anyway (Midnight Blue) :P
