Random guesses for what happens next.

1) Turns herself mortal and reincarnates repeatedly just like Celestia's lover, giving Luna time between reincarnations to make other friends.

2) Finds a way to reintegrate herself with Luna, merging one another and ending all issues with them being separate ponies.

3) Finds a way to turn herself into Baby Nightmare Moon, fully establishing a direct mother/daughter relationship with Luna instead of the current muddled mess.

4) Just leaves after giving Celestia warning of the situation. Potentially prompting Luna into a 'never ending' search for her.

5) Attempts to take another pony as her official lover in the hopes that it would at least sway Luna into finding one also.

Remember she's missing so it's either 1 or 4 since those make the most plausible outcomes

I admit I had forgotten Celestia was missing. ^^; Had been awhile since I read the previous pages. Just hope it isn't to terrible. Luna's great.

My guess she does something inorder to get Luna to fall out of love with her. Considering the appearance of the moon. I'm guessing she does something so terrible that it warrants banishment.

Oh I completely forgot that. o.o I gotta reread the whole thing now. ^^;

Can't help but wonder if she simply went to Celestia, smacked her with a pie and shouted. "Send me to the moon!" Or something equally silly just to get herself out Luna's proverbial way. ^^; Rather than actually do something truly evil.

We know what happens, nightmare is gonna do something that forces her to be sent back to the moon as we see in the future
