I've really gotta stop getting new scars and piercings!!
♥None of the piercings are neon green, they are all steel except the moonstone in her forehead.
♥Septum, nostril, & ear piercings are optional, the rest are not.
♥Toenails (if painted) can be either bright blue or orange, no fingernail polish
♥Goggles are optional, but usually worn if clothed
♥No specific bandage placement, usually has some type of minor injury, generally on fingers, knees, or arms.

It's called a dermal anchor or micodermal piercing, same as the ones in my chest and the sides of my navel. It's like a skin button! The part under the skin is flat, and a little screw pops out that you can attach different stones and such to. I want to get little stars for my chest!
Ahhhh, okay. I personally will never understand the appeal of dermal anchors (they just sound extremely uncomfortable, to me....). Not saying it's dumb (because I have my own stupid ideas that I have about fashion, I'm sure XD), just that I can't quite grasp the personal appeal v:
In regards to the "bush", that's the one spot on an animal where the fur is shortest, if there at all. So you would think that that would apply to anthro characters as well.
But on the other hand, I saw an artist who decided to add a tuft of longer fur down there, and artistically it worked.
Long story short...I have no clue where I was going with this but I think it's cool that you took the time to make that decision ^.^

I guess I don't spend enough time looking at dog crotch! Just kidding.
Hotch is more of a dog-like human than a human-like dog, but first and foremost, she's a cartoon. I don't like the pubeless look, so I gave her a bush (possibly the only aspect of her not derived directly from myself). If you want to get into disturbing detail, the "bush" is only superficial. Everything -between- the legs is shaven. ^_~
