Absolutely LOVE the rendering of these two! Ammut looks so real, not awkward like he's usually portrayed. And I love the fact Anubis has some tassely-hair on the tip of his tail. Something new and fresh on his persona.

I didn't for the longest time, either. :o I stumbled across her while reading a story and they referred to her as "Goddess Ammut." Even though she's not really a goddess, the Egyptians personified her as their fear.

Anubis: NO!! AMMUT!!! NO!!!!! *pulls Ammut away from group* You'll get sick if you eat them! Even though they deserve it.
