The sequel to Odyssey, a steampunk adventure.
Story - The Odyssey escaped Hallow and Liane and fled into the country of Anselon. However, while there they must deal with the fact that their captain and engineer have been kidnapped by Kelvrin Firkin, the griffin who's cargo they lost. The crew must rush to save them before it is too late, and behind the scenes, pieces have begun to move across the chessboard.

Ouch, cat o' nine tails? Is this a curse I've yet to hear of?
Okay, as I read, I honestly thought there was going to be fondling of either Topaz, or Sunstreak. >.>
I like the ominous ending, storm clouds coming in sends that eerie end of the world feeling, hehe.

Well, she's a kitten, I figured she'd make a cute swear instead of saying something vulgar. LOL.
Oh, no fondling yet, but there may be a psuedo love scene in the third if I can fit it in. :)
The end of part 2 is basically intended like an 'after the credits scene' to prepare the audience for part 3. ;)

All right Violet!!! Bam-de-bam-bam! Good show!
Kelvrin and Cetas make a good interrogator tag team. Excellent fight scene also! A well run rescue! Your depiction of Topaz's first firefight rings so true. Poor kitten, that would be terrifying. But she did better on the sabotage run, I like that.
I enjoy the byplay of Jake coming aboard under a mistaken impression about who he's going to be protecting, being disgusted with the deception and then of course falling under the spell of Topaz's kitten charm, just like everyone else. She's just irresistible it seems! ^^
I do wonder why, though, as they head back to their old ways and haunts, that they don't seem to be worried about Hallow and Liane coming after them again? Surely they can't think that the pair wouldn't find out when they get back, and try to get Topaz again?
Liane and Hallow are recruiting a pretty nasty character to help develop the part they need for their weapon. I wonder how that's going to work out. Sounds like it could lead to problems to me. Or maybe I'm just a suspicious person. ;3

I kind of felt based on the way she had been played in part 1 that she would not be a gunslinger off the cuff, and likely had never held a gun before in this continuity. It just made sense that she would be overwhelmed and panic, though luckily Julie was there. ;) The second time she was able to focus on the job and not on the shooting. ;)

Oh, they are, but like anyone kicked out of their home, they wouldn't stay away forever. It's one thing to run when you're in trouble, but most folks would come back to take what's theirs and defend their home. :) They're going back because that's what they do. :) Of course, what they don't know is that Liane doesn't NEED Topaz any more. :)
Enkai will be a third element in part 3 between Hallow and Liane, it'll be fun to play their power plays against each other. ;) Who'll end up surviving, even I don't know yet. :)

With Jake taking the job anyway, even though he'd been fooled, and on the first mission even considering laying down his life to protect his new friends, it gives us a good measure of is personality and integrity too.

I kind of played it like Darius and Jake had met before, kind of figuring that Darius tricked his friend on purpose. LOL. :) Though I think it worked out well. :)

It seems to save the requirement of a long explanation as to why he's here and then you don't need to justify why they trust him, because Darius does. :)
Oh, depending on how things go, Liane and Hallow may get foiled by other things, it all depends on which version of the story pleases my fancy the most. ;)
Only thing I'm sure of at this point is that in one of the first scenes they'll blow up the large clocktower. :)

Well, Clockwork was easy in that I planned all three right together because it was necessary, but with Spectrum, Odyssey, and most projects, I get the basic plot in my head, and then see where the story goes as I plan each scene out one at a time until the story is complete. ;)
I know that part 3 will feature the electrical cannon and that the Odyssey will try to stop them. :) How or how they'll get there is open to guesses. :)

It is awesome I totally approve. I like that Violet wasn't going to let them kill her partner. No one hurts my friends. My you can abuse but my family though scared to death you can not. Loved the Chakat stuff and the cliff hanger was great. I love Topaz the playing with the wiring is very cute.
I decided to put Topher and Violet together and off the ship for part 2 to make her role stronger for this episode, I think it came off well. :) Violet had plenty to do, though for part 3 the crew will all start off together. :)

Topaz and Violet can live in harmony because Violet works the steam parts and Topaz knows how to fix the electrical lighting. :) It's kind of tough knowing what seems believeable and such, as I've so far avoided the idea of an intercom or video, but lighting seems doable. ;)
Nah, if anyone dies it might be in part 3, but we shall see. :) In the last part, all bets are off. :)
