Do you see it now? The true word of God.
This is a place where things happen again and again,
And we are men compelled by sways of which we have not ken...
What the city demands, it must be given!
And he so ever who does not love the Lord,
Let him be anathema! Maranatha!
Curse his name and let him burn!
- Tiber.

This is one of your most epic, tremendous as well as most describing and strongest theme you have done so far. It's absolutely amazing! You have no idea how often I listened to it throughout the progress of the painting.
It also was a true pleasure working together with you on a collaboration like this. :)

flutes + angel choir =/= not the comic i know. But the rest is nice, i like the talking part etc, etc.. Nice to hear, but i wouldnt buy that. ;p (violin sometimes sounds too erf.. "fantasy" for such theme. Dunno, maybe imma lame hyena, pardon me. ouch. 4:10 is a creepy moment, but.. Ah.. dunno. Let other people say about this soundtrack more.
Oh wow... This was quite the brilliant piece. ^^ Very ominous tone to it, as if one is confronting God himself in well...the start of the ruining of that city in the thumbnail lol. The voice too, made a lot of impact... A psycotic, evil tone to it, leading to a maddened frenzy. A great song to listen to. ^^
I love the vocal parts on this piece, and the intense, dark tone of the music just makes it so, so epic. I actually opened up the link to the painting and saw it and the quote right when it came up on the song, and everything combined just made my jaw drop with how amazing this was. Incredible job once again, Foxamoore!
I absolutely loved the different intervals between the music, all the different sounds and feelings i got from it were an amazing rush. :) It felt like an overture with all the different pieces of music in the actual soundtrack put into one song but transitioned well enough that it could be it's own song. Wonderful job once again! You never cease to amaze me. <3
Expertly done! You really are a top-class composer and that's including men like Hans Zimmer and John Williams.
The voice work was very well done, although in my personal opinion it took away from the music, but that's my own sense of taste and nothing against the song itself.
Great work!

very cool :3 osfer did a great job with the vocal samples :D and Pacato, lovely as always. very nicely done, chaps.
I always got a Portishead vibe when I read the comic. Sort of a sensual, dangerous jazz. With chorus lines like, "Sin slave of sensation," sort of rang for me. What do you think?

Always wanted to tell them that, but then, who am I in a flood of private messages, comments, and e-mails? Kind of ironic I'd say anything about it to you now :P

wow oh wow oh wow!!
I have read the comics and when i saw this come up in my submissions there was a sharp in take of breath and i suddenly went cold.
you have not disappointed one bit!! Listening to it reminded me of some of the pieces from War Of The Worlds and certainly tells the story of this city and how it is a forsaken place.
if you were to do more themes for comics, can i recommend on for "Red Lantern" if not already in production.

Okay... 2 words... GOD DAMN.
I got chills listening to this. the music was strong when it needed to be, gentle when they needed to be, and the vocal pieces of a man sounding as though he teetered on the brink of madness was just the icing on the cake.
bravo good sir. bravo :)

The voiceover parts were just amazing... and the rest of the song only made it stronger. The words give you a place to start. A voice, an idea, a place for everything to happen... And then the music begins, drawing you through it. When the words come back, a sad moment of regret... back into the music, slowly developing into chaos, and the words... You can feel the corruption, the power.... the enormity of everything. And then... "The glass has already begun to crack..."
the starting sequence i can so see coming from an old radio...slowly zooming out once the music starts a dead body fully in view then a race thru city scenes of violent acts robberies and murder... then a gentle waltz in what might be an upper class ballroom moving down to a funeral hall and then a truly thrilling experience of the villian in shadow speaking down to his minions
truly an awe inspiring piece

I started listening to this entirely by random. See, I typically go about my days completely unaware of all the awesome things in this world. I had never heard of Heathen City before listening to this track. My right hand, after I started listening, initially felt kind of chilled, and then it ran up my arm and down my spine as osfer kept talking more. the strings made their way in, and completely made me shiver down, and then up again. I listened to it twice and got a similar result. I was not expecting that amount of, for lack of a better word, epic to be pounded into my eardrums.
Needless to say, I find this piece brilliant! And now I need to do some research, because my lack of knowledge in this comic has now become a very, very sad prospect. Thank you for this.

Probably heard this about 50 billion times, and if I could I would make you hear it 50 billion more,
Your work is amazing, your music fills the soul, and honestly, i feel every note and emotion you put into this,
This piece in particular, it has so many emotions to it, that I honestly had to comment,
I've listened to this piece in particular about 30+ times today, and I haven't gotten sick of it yet.
I appreciate whenever you post, and I hope to see another soon ^_^
Thank you~

You know, Dignity's something you can live without if you can't afford it. I-I ain't ashamed of anything I've done, but there's things I've... seen. Things that I allowed that leave me cold and still at night. But they say you can't live in Maranatha without just a little... Decay, I think. Rot in the brain. Faith in the Lord. Faith in Justice! Ha ha ha... It all just kind of turns to... mulch in this place, y'know? Heh heh... There ain't no such thing as "Love", or "Salvation". Not for people like us. Not here. Only Lust... Greed... Corruption that builds and builds and never stops! Oh... Can't you already hear it? See it? Feel it...?
The glass is already begun to crack!
Amazing song! I absolutely love the mix between the music and the voices, definitely added a lot of emotion to it! So for my favorite from you, Fox~!
