Old old old old horrible art (2005? 2006? Not that I've improved much LOL) but this picture needed to show up somewhere in the FA Gallery, even if just in the scraps section, because I <3 it so.
Ralphy likes to push buttons and never knows when/cares to stop. Snakes has a short temper, even shorter patience, and a habit of throwing his weight around to get the STFU point across.
Why they get on so well is anyone's guess.
Soooo want to redraw this at some point.

Yeah, the trigger finger is especially wonky. That's my BIGGEST weakness in art, I can't for the LIFE of me draw hands. I keep meaning to practice but I'm so put off by it that I just never do.
And I agree on Ralph, I was SO happy about how he came out in this - especially since I made it a point to not flip my sketchbook around to draw him, I actually drew the picture the way it looks. (Reminds me, I meant to mention to you that I've got a rather naughty Ralph picture on the way. ;) )

LOL that messes everyone up. Blondie's a raptor, but there's a story to his name (here comes to curse of anthropomorphizing long-developed literary characters, BACK STORY!); he didn't speak until he was nearly two years old, and when he finally did it was discovered that he had a rather unfortunate speech impediment. Dad noted that "he sounds like a whole lot of snakes". To which the little guy started repeating the word "Snakes", taking damn near two minutes to say it each time because of the hissy lisp.
His actual birth name was Christian, but his adopted father had a very heartless and wry sense of humor - so every legal document has him listed as "Snakes Thomas Picillo". (Consequently, he gets rather pissy if anyone calls him Christian - but the only one who really does is his biological brother.)
