Detail is proportional to how much money you give me.
As a baseline, a simple colored sketch at this level will be $30 per character, +$15 per pose (eg. for refs or alts), and +$60 for a complex background.

anything higher is basically tipping at that point

If you have any complicated character details, please have references on-hand! I don't do too great with written descriptions. even a mspaint drawing is enough, or if you can explain more background on your character that might work too.
