TERMS OF SERVICE (polymer clay jewelry, accessories)By ordering a commission, you confirm that you have read all the rules and agree with all of them.
I am not responsible for misunderstandings about these rules. But if something from these terms is not clear for you, feel free to ask me :)
Also I reserve the right to deny any commission for any reason I consider as proper.
• I MAKE •
- all kinds of existing and extinct animals, birds, sea creatures
- custom original characters and pets
- fantasy and mythological creatures
- anthro and feral
- items on themes of myths and legends, fairy tales, dark scary tales
• I DON'T MAKE •
- humans and any characters that look more like humans than like animals
- porn and vulgar nudity
- fanart characters and fanstuff, but if the character is created by you according to some lore, for example, your own RPG-character from TESO, WoW or something like that - it is OK, I make that.
- some original species that are belong to other artists/crafters (ask me, if you are not sure)
- duplicates of other crafters' items
- duplicates of my own items (except items from Limited collections), but I can make something similar with another details and colors
- items on many fetish themes (ask me, if you are not sure)
• MATERIALS I USE •
My items are made of high quality polymer clay. I use basically CERNIT, FIMO, SCULPEY. Also I use Artifact and Craft&Clay, when I need some fluorescent colors or special effects.
I color the items with dry pastels, metallic powders and water-based acrylic paints.
I cover the items with gloss or semi-gloss FIMO Varnish.
I use metal findings made of non-noble metals, that means it's not real silver, bronze or gold.
Also I use glass cabochons, rhinestones, seed beads, microbeads, glitter, gemstones (mostly synthetic).
• PAYMENT •
I take payment in USD and via PayPal invoices ONLY (no cash/DA points/checks).
I require full upfront payment to start working on your order. In some cases I can request a screenshot confirming that you actually paid.
• REFUSES and REFUNDS •
If the work on the commission is not yet started, I return all the money to you (full refund).
Also I return all the money to you, if I cannot complete the commission.
If the work on the commission has been started, I return a part of money to you, but I take the percentage of payment in accordance with the scope of work that is already done. In this case I reserve the right to keep the workpiece or do with it what I want (including remaking and sale).
(!) If the work is already completed or close to the finish, I don't make any refunds.
• HOW TO ORDER and WORK PROCESS •
- Fill out the ordering form and send it to me.
- Then I review the order details and set the price. If the price suits you, please, notify me about that and I'll send you a PayPal invoice.
- After receiving the payment I start to work on the commission: I sculpt it and send you the photos before baking.
You may request progress shots during the work process.
You may request small changes to the sculpt, but large changes may cause additional payments.
- Please watch the photos with attention. If I forget a detail or make something wrong, please let me know! Shape changes to the sculpt can be made only before the baking. After the baking NO SHAPE CHANGES can be made!
- When the work is completed, I send you the photos of finished item and wait for your confirmation that everything is right. After your confirmation, I pack and ship the item (you'll get the shipping photos and information).
• ORDERING FORM •
1. type of commission (pendant or brooch or magnet or something else, portrait or full body)
2. destination country
3. graphic info: reference sheet, photos, screenshots or just a rough sketch (highly artistic illustrations are not required)
4. your PayPal e-mail
○ (optional) if it's a full-body character, please, specify desired pose. You can show me a picture as an example.
○ (optional) if it's a portrait, please, specify desired expression and view: front or side
⚬ (optional) time limits: if you want to get something before definite date (birthday, holiday)
⚬ (optional) your special wishes and comments (for example, if you want me to make it more cute or more creepy, or if you some glowing in the dark things)
* (optional) Also you can rely on artistic freedom. It means for you to give me a verbal description of what you want and get finished item (skipping all intermediate confirming stages). It's always welcome.
You can send me all this information on my e-mail jarvitiralin[at]gmail.com or contact me on social medias (links are in the end). Please describe your commission as clearly as possible. English is not my native language so I may have some difficulties in understanding some slang and expressions.
• TIME FRAMES •
Jewelry commission usually takes 1-2 weeks to complete.
Also time of making depends on how quickly you confirm work stages (except if you choose artistic freedom and get finished item).
(!) I ship finished item only after your confirmation that everything is right. Before that I keep the item and wait for your reply.
• PACKING and SHIPPING •
⚬ I ship worldwide from Russia (Moscow) via Russian Post.
⚬ Shipping cost is included in the price.
⚬ The jewelry comes in a carton box with paper filler. The box is packaged in a bubble wrap for a safe delivery. I do everything I can for your order comes to you safe and without any damages.
⚬ I'll provide you shipping photos and a tracking number as a proof that your commission is well packaged and shipped.
⚬ I am not responsible for damages that occur after the item has left my possession. If you receive your item and it's damaged, contact me as soon as you receive the item. If it's repairable I can make repair for free but you must pay for shipping both ways. Actually, super glue fixes most breakages.
⚬ I am not responsible for packages that missing by reason of the postal service.
• DELIVERY TIME •
Estimated delivery times are:
- United States: 15-60 days
- Europe: 15-60 days
- Australia: 15-60 days
⚬ Please keep in mind that delivery time may be increased due to Christmas and New Year Holiday season.
⚬ I am not responsible for delays due to customs.
• IMPORTANT INFORMATION •
⚬ Prices shown in price list are basic and may increase due to: open mouth, complex horns, wings, complex colors and patterns, clothes, accessories, adding background and other details.
⚬ I have my own styles and technologies to create things and I don't accept any requests like "make it like that crafter does". There are examples of my artworks in my gallery, so you know what you are ordering.
⚬ I am not responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.
• CARE INSTRUCTIONS •
Please handle with care. Polymer clay is rather durable material, but for extending the life of your jewelry you're recommended to:
- remove it before taking a bath, swimming, sleeping and doing intensive physical exercises.
- remove it before applying creme, body oil, deodorant, perfume and hairspray.
- avoid durable exposure to moisture, water and hot steam.
- avoid scratching impact.
- avoid falling on the floor especially on hard surfaces such as concrete, stones, ceramic tile.
- keep away from little children and pets
- do not use abrasive/alcohol/aggressive chemical cleaning agents.
- use a damp cloth for cleaning and rub gently without using force. |
