"Raw completion time" is the MINIMUM; i.e. how quickly I can complete it when no other commissions are on queue. I will provide an estimation of actual completion time before payment is sent.
All prices assume single-character, full-body images with no/minimal background.

Halfbody: 65% of the price for the character.
Background: Varied range, often between 50% and 150% of the price. The BG is always handled in a "painting" style, with extra hours/rendering the higher the base price tier.

Ref SheetsA standard reference includes either 3 poses and 1 closeup, OR 2 poses and 4 closeups. "Basic" ref sheets only have 2 poses. Both include a palette, notes, small insets (such as of hands/feet) if the poses are unclear, and a bio if applicable. Basic is $160 and standard is $260.
I consider references the most important commission to get done accurately. I am very lenient and welcoming of changes- they're expected and included in the commission price.
The example is flats, 2P 1C (since the tail was originally on the body).
References are 100% customizable! :)
It is preferred, but not necessary, for ref commissioners to keep in contact with me through Telegram, Discord, Steam, or Twitter for faster contact.
Refs in styles other than flat color are available. Ask for a quote.

Character Design SessionThis can be added to any other commission, or even can stand on its own, but it is most commonly recommended as an addition to ref sheets! Example is from a ref sheet.
This is a process of thumbnails to help work out the fine details of the character. Black-and-white process images of the head, face, body, hands and feet, tail, wings, etc allow for a diverse range of possible options. Then, the colors, markings and patterns are explored in the same way.
If the character is made completely from scratch, or has a complex and detailed design to create, there will be a surcharge. |
