WritingBurr’s Story Commission SheetIntroduction 🐻
Good mornin’, afternoon, or evenin’! I would like to formally thank you for consideration, and I appreciate you taking time out of your day to read this.
It’s not required, but I would highly recommend that you read from start to finish before you contact me. If you can’t, there is a TL;DR in the Concluding Summary at the end.

Main Points 📚
◇ Prepare the story you have in mind, including characters, story details, settings, and more.
◇ Have a rough estimate of the story length. (1,000 words, 3,000 words, 5,000 words, etc.)
◇ My timeframe of return will be roughly 2–4 weeks, depending on what is requested.
◇ Updates are given on a weekly basis, or if asked. I will provide information on the current progress.
◇ All commissioned stories are uploaded to my FA page. The client has the option to either keep themselves anonymous by altering names and species of their characters before posting, or keep the narrative as is without changes. If the unchanged route has been chosen, I may link to the client’s own personal FA page per request.
Writing Process ✏️
◇ Upon your initial messages, you should have a basic idea for the story, active character roles, estimated word count, etc.
◇ Work on the commission will begin shortly after agreements have been made with both parties.
◇ When the entire story is done, it will be dubbed the final draft.
◇ A screenshot containing the amount of pages and complete word count will be sent for confirmation.
◇ After payment is provided, the client will gain access to a read–only final draft of the story via a Good Docs link. They may request small changes to story beats, character moments, specific dialogue, etc.
◇ With the approval of the commissioner, that final draft is considered the finished product. I will then clean up the remainder of the document, send an offline version of the narrative via a PDF file, and the commission is deemed complete!
Notes 📃
◇ My narratives are written in the English language only.
◇ A visual aid of the character(s) is not required. Nevertheless, a written description with intricate details of their appearance is sufficient.
◇ A summary of the character(s) is required. The personality they encompass, how they interact with specific characters, relationships with others. This is vital.
◇ I can write in the 1st or 3rd person perspective, choose whichever you prefer. If unsure, you may give me control to declare the option that I believe would fit the narrative.
◇ You need permission to use another character that you don’t own. I would like a screenshot/message from the owner giving me the go ahead. If not, then the commission is deadlocked.
◇ An established character is fine. Like your favorite anthropomorphic character from a movie, comic, or video game. I am equipped with writing them as long as you fill in the details.

Pricing 💸
It is set at 1¢ per word, or $10 (USD) per 1,000 words. Narratives, at minimum, cannot be under 1,000 words. You may request higher word counts. I do not do group commissions with multiple parties at this time. (This can change in the future).
Payments are conducted through Paypal invoice ONLY!
Things to keep in mind:
◇ Once the commission is finalized/complete and paid for, there are no refunds.
◇ Clients who frequent me and have commissioned five stories or more in the past, and have paid for a story in the last six months, will get a 10% reduction on the final price for all future stories.
◇ My commissions come with two characters automatically as the central focus. If you want more, each subsequent addition adds a 15% flat fee to the final price, up to a total of four characters for the narrative.
◇ Any narratives that surpass 10,000 words in total, usually over 25—30 pages in length alone, will be subjected to an additional flat fee of 20% of the final price. (ex: 11,000 worded narrative is $110 USD, 20% of that price is $22 USD, thus the grand total of the commission is $132 USD).
◇ I’ll do my best not to go past the agreed word count to avoid further charging more than what was settled. As another example, a story of 6,102 words will be charged as if it was a story of 6,000 words regardless. Therefore, the final price would be $60 (USD).
Terms & Conditions 🗃️
◇ All stories that I create and write are my own work, thus the ownership falls under me.
◇ Do not alter, change, or edit the final version of the story whatsoever. These stories are inherently non–commercial only, reserved for personal use.
◇ Do not, under any circumstance, use my work or writing for artificial intelligence training, models, chat bots, etc. This will result in an immediate blacklisting of the client for future collaborations.
◇ Posting the story on personal socials, say FurAffinity for simplicity, is allowed. As long as it is credited accordingly.
◇ If a client has payment issues, i.e. personal financial trouble during the process, the commission is paused until further notice.
◇ In the event of the client failing to pay the requested invoice after a week of the story’s word count, page count, etc. has been shown, I will cancel the commission entirely and add that specific client into a blacklist. The written narrative will be shelved, removing involvement of the original commissioner’s vision. I may post the story outright for my portfolio and replace/change what is necessary. Note that I will never use an unpaid story for a future client’s commission.
◇ I have the right as a writer to deny or decline any requests. No explanation nor elaboration needed.
◇ Writing a request or sending a message/note declares that you agree to all of the above.
Concluding Summary 🍯
In short, you send the details of your commission idea, already having a good grasp of the characters, plot, kinks(?), word count, etc. before messaging me. Provide a summary of your characters plus their personalities, sending photos/references of said characters if you have any to assist in proper writing accuracy.
After discussion and agreement, I will begin to write a rough draft over the next few weeks and DM updates when asked/every week. I will send an invoice on Paypal to be paid for access to the document including final comments and editing. After that, I will deliver the full narrative via a final Google Docs link including a PDF version directly to you. The commission will then be finished!
