I think what I love most is the through line from here to the past episode where Fen defeated a bandit camp without killing anyone (directly). Those tasks required control and maturity. She had to be mature enough to know what to say to these people, these students who need guidance, while also figuring out where they are in the journey before they came to the temple doors.
