It is the year 2045. 12 years ago, in the year 2033, at the height of the Cybertronian Great War, an Earth fur, whose species, gender, and identity are currently unknown, somehow managed to have a planet-destroying bomb onto Cybertron and managed to blow up Cybertron. No one knows what their intentions were for doing this, but the world may never know, considering it was reported that the unknown individual killed themself afterward and did it in a way that none of their identifying features could be traced. They were very thorough in covering their tracks and erasing all identifying marks and records of their hideout. But who the assailant was and why they did what they did were the least of Earth's concerns, as Megatron started to take his anger out on every Earth fur. Many died, and the damage was extreme. Eventually, a year later, Optimus Prime sacrificed himself and took Megatron down with him... by using the very Matrix of Leadership as a bomb. Very few Autobots and Decepticons were left. With Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwave all gone, Tarn and the DJD took up leadership, with Tarn being the only viable candidate for leadership. The remaining Autobots formed a holdout cell called Team Storm, with Springer acting as de facto leader, helping furs where they could and looking for any remaining Autobots. Team Storm eventually took in some orphaned young survivor furs whose ages ranged from 11-13. Now, the Decepticons have come out of hiding, but the Autobots will take the fight to them in order to make the last push to finish the war so that they can rebuild the world so that furs and bots can live in peace once and for all.
