When a star falls from the heavens, it is not unusual for individuals to make a wish upon the celestial object, expressing their deepest desires and aspirations upon its descent. Under rare circumstances, this wishing star will embody the hopes and dreams of the wish maker. Moreover, if this wishing star happens to land in the sea, it will undergo a metamorphosis into a creature known as a "Capi."



Capi are creatures of unnatural beauty, often adorned with iridescent scales and horns that glisten like rare gemstones in the depths of the ocean. They glide effortlessly through the azure waters and prance elegantly upon rocky shores, captivating all who are fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of their mythical form. Legends speak of the Capi as harbingers of good fortune and guardians that watch over dreamers, bestowing blessings upon those who honor their presence.



With an aura of grace and majesty, the Capi embodies the timeless allure of the deep, beckoning travelers and dreamers to embark on a journey of boundless wonder. Their existence serves as a reminder of the mystique that lies hidden beneath the waves and beyond the stars. A reminder that there are realms of enchantment yet to be explored and cherished by those who seek the extraordinary.

I've been working on this species since 2017. They were inspired by the celestial zodiac, Capricorn, and they are an ongoing project I'd like to share with others!
