Neopets NFT... NO!

So, if you haven't heard, Neopet.com is getting NFT's (non-fungible tokens) and it's a terrible idea! Almost everyone, if not everyone, in the Neopets community agrees how bad this is.

What makes it worse is that you're not paying for your neopets to become NFTs, you're paying to get a random neopet that isn't customized by you. You don't even get to make your own NFT with it. Also, they plan to make certain activities that were normally free into pay-to-play, things like the Giant Omelet will be trapped behind a paywall. Again, I can't say all the details, as the site I linked does a better job listing it, but this whole NFT project is nothing but a cashgrab that'll ruin the site and its image.

Well, with the way things have been going lately, that may already be the case.

indeed, least they kept the site updated unlike the current ownership and I do miss the flash games which I used to make my income on neopets (although the majority of it comes from Trudy's surprise these days)

Same. JumpStart just hasn't been putting the site in the best light, and it saddens me that it's in this state.
