Hey guys,
I thought I should let you know that I am desparately trying to get my sleep back on track, hence why I am writing this at an impossible time. I will get light medication consisting of valerian soon, because I take 3 hours to fully wake up only to then just not getting tired again, not even after 8 hours of work.
Suffice to say, my concentration level is round about not-so-good and my brain is a mess.
Wish me luck, 2021 effing broke me; it's annoying to no end.

I hope you're able get some needed rest, Trias buddy. Sleep is a beautiful thing. ❤️
I haven't seen a doc to see if I've got a mineral deficiency, but I do know that an iron deficiency can cause restlessness as well.
But for me, melatonin at 8:10-8:30 normally has me down by 12 if I fight it and add a sugary drink. But herbal tea is much better anyway. And a vitamin B energy gummy in the morning (kept on my headboard so I can have it the moment I wake up) actually gives me enough energy to roll out of bed by 6 (because I now wake up at 5:30ish if I drop by 11, without using an alarm). Without even having coffee, I'm even awake enough to get on my eboard and take my dog for a walk (which the eboard makes muuuuuuch easier), come back and have a chill time eating breakfast and watching some news, and head to work while my dog is too worn out to fight me about leaving.
tl;dr
add melatonin at night and vitamin b in the morning maybe? Good sleep habits can cure so many ails that we don't even notice.
I got some lighter meds which are doing the job, by now I'm used to the self-employment schedule. I got a little brochure along with the pills I take and pretty much everything I had problems with was listed in there as stress symptoms, so it was a bit different from just insomnia.
