Pirates want The Furry Mayor's Handkerchief
Mission Attained 🌐
I was talking with my neighbour. I climbed the balcony from the outside with my saurian powers and we spoke about her mum's birthday which was today. I decided to go to Lidl to buy her a gift and hopped off there.
A Regrettable Side Quest ↩️
Near Lidl, I climb on a much taller building and reach the top window which was open. I look inside and the flat seems abandoned, but from the farther-most room from the window, pirates come out with a room service rolling table. There was a cake on it, as if they knew about the bday. They explained how they'd forgive the intrusion if I put up their pirate flag in the City Hall instead of the Province's flag and get them a handkerchief from the Mayor's house.
A New Party Member 🐺💥
I made my way towards the Mayor's house, and while walking,
JwolG sneaks up on me and tackle hugs me. I feel awkward while I'm on the ground staring up at Gator. They help me get up and I say how I'm going to break into the Mayor's house. Gator wants in too so we go together.
Breaking and Entering: Shocking Discovery 🏚🔐
When inside, nobody was home so we hurried to get the handkerchief. There was a warning sign on the wall by the safe, saying "Caution, Cursed Doll". I grabbed the handkerchief and noticed that there were images of the Mayor and his wife's fursonas inside the cupboard: A dragon with antlers and a tigress. I was surprised they were furries all this time.
The Doll is Alive! 🎎👻
Shortly after, there was a noise in the balcony. It was a rather small but terrifying living doll monster, all made of white fabric, with a big toothy mouth, and long ghost-like hair. It moved really fast, over the balcony, and into the house, prompting me and Gator to run really quickly.
No Safe Place 🏘🚫
Next, I was back home with Gator. From my room, we see the creepy face of the doll pressed against my matte glass door, moving erratically and trying to get in. We wondered why the curse activated, did the puppet want the handkerchief back? Gator opened the door really firmly, shoving the doll away temporarily, giving us time to make a run for the kitchen. JwolG's pet dog also ran along randomly in the hallways. There was also a small chocolate biscuit stash in a hole in the wall.
The Final Curse 🍽⚰️
This didn't stop the doll and it was soon on top of me trying to chew my face off. I was doing my best to prevent that, grabbing the doll by the wrists. My brother was also in the kitchen and he said it was a really ugly doll but didn't seem otherwise bothered nor try to help. He wondered why the mayor would need that as a defence, and what brought the curse upon us, the "rag" handkerchief, the dog, or JwolG.
I woke up after, terrified.
