In eternity, where there is no time, nothing can grow. Nothing can become. Nothing changes. So death created time to grow the things that it would kill and you are reborn but into the same life that you've always been born into.
Well sort of. I've subscribed to Audible and have been listening to audio books at work, since the nature of my job allows me the opportunity to do such. I've also been listening to podcasts as well. One of the audio books I've listened to was World War Z. This was rather brilliantly done, as the novel itself was written as a UN report-turned-bestseller, this plays out like a documentary. A number of actors portray characters/survivors who were present during a number of events discussed in the book. Details are given from the start of the war to how it was ultimately resolved.
One big thing stood out to me with this audio book: this was a fictitious account of a fictitious pandemic, yet it pretty accurately predicted the failures of national governments to competently handle the situation. As in real life, a lot of people died before it was taken seriously. This made me very uncomfortable.
Suffice it to say though, I very strongly recommend this book! The audio book from Audible is fantastic, but the print version is great too! I'll discuss more books I've listened to in future journals!
