OPINION/COMMENTARY ---
Why are so many people in this fandom so violently against conservatives being in the fandom and wishing harm on us? It's one thing to disagree with someone (which is fine and healthy), but to suggest that a group of people who happen to have different OPINIONS than 80% of this fandom are not allowed to be furries much less attend cons is not just absurd on its face, it's downright discriminatory and dangerous.
For a fandom that LOVES to preach how diverse, inclusive, tolerant, and accepting it is, most (woke leftists) seem to find it extremely difficult to actually put forth those ideals into practice.
Wokeness, critical race theory, identity politics, and general human indecency is and has tainted this fandom for the worse.

Where would you put yourself on the "conservative" spectrum? Classic William F Buckley? circa-1964 Barry Goldwater? Or perhaps an On Beyond Zebra (sorry Dr. Seuss) ultra-passionate righty - that is to say, a reactionary?
I don't think conservatives per se are unwelcome in the furry community, but angry people with a chip on their shoulder - and let everyone know it - tend to generate hostile reactions. It's interesting that the things you dislike/hate include "Hate against those you disagree with." Are you sure you've never crossed that line yourself, even just a little bit? Because it sounds like you hate people who disagree with you.
Have you been banned from any conventions? Kicked off FA? Had your Official Furry membership card confiscated? No? Then I'd say you're still welcome in this crazy freeform community of ours, open to weirdos and poltical extremists of all varieties.
Hey, please believe me I'm not trying to poke a hornets' nest here: I DO NOT hate you even though we're probably on opposite ends of the political spectrum (although I hate football too); I'm honestly curious about where you're coming from.
Maybe I didn't make myself clear - it's the people who are being deliberately provocative with the intent of getting people angry at them so they can turn around and say "I'm being picked on & they're trying to silence me!" - the old "play the victim" game.
I have a couple of friends who are/were Trump supporters; as far as I know no one's come to "expel" them from ffandom.
