my first one had no effects?? just my arm felt heavy and a bit sore
the second one hit me hard though .... I think while I was sleeping a fever creeped on me and I was super restless and overheating but at the same time felt like I am freezing
kept thrashing left and right, no position felt right ...
next day had a bit of a temperature and on third day I had to go to work, but i was fine haha

I had the Pfizer shot, too. First one, no effects. Second one just made me ultra lethargic and it was hard to stay awake and focus. I had to apologize to my bosses and customers (I work retail) why I seemed to be so sluggish on my thoughts. Went away after a week. No real effects other than that. Some of my co-workers didn't even feel a thing, while some others were put out for two or three weeks. The reactions were, for the most part, just everywhere on the spectrum.

Sorry you had to go through it though, but I am glad that you're fine on your own now and it's over.

got both shots of pfizer and just had some mild arm pain. Since then I went to bars and cinemas without any problems. We have a Qr code here after you get the two shots and no major outbreak yet even if most things are open almost normally. I'm proud of you for standing up to yourself. I think you did the right thing and hope it will inspire others to do the same

It's rumoured that it will be lifted after 15th of November, but I ain't too sure about it, since people in my country are pretty much all listening to the bad feedback and say that the vaccines we are getting are the last in the batch and not the high quality ones just ..... ???? what?
Also they believe that there are several thousand people who now have health complications after getting their vaccine
Even my own mother keeps asking if I am okay
So idk what's going on...

But I hope people will realise that even if the Covid won't go away, it is best to get your shot to prevent people from dying ...

I know at least 30 people that know at least 30 people and that's not counting the furry groups I'm in. Only friends, family, and coworkers. That gives me a reach of around 900 people in that way and it's probably the same for you. With that, during covid, I've heard more than once people say that they had a loved one that passed away due to covid. I remember one pretty clearly because of circumstances but I'm pretty sure I heard that at least twice though I have a bad memory. I've heard even more people talking about friends or family that went to the hospital because of this. I've heard lot's too that had covid and it was for them just a big cold. I also heard many people fearing for their life because they have immunity problem. One thing for me is certain, that think spreaded a ton even if the damage wasn't through the roof on a small scale.

Now the thing is, with the same amount of people if not more since my circle grew overtime after covid started because I joined the fandom at the same time and met a lot of people, I haven't heard once about someone I know knowing someone that had any long term problem with the Vaccine. Only some pain in the arm or their body aching for like 2 days. Add to that that in general, more people had the vaccine than covid and I would say that, with the analysis of my pov, the Vaccine makes your life safer.

That was my thought about my pov. My bias constructed around what I've seen around me. You can also add to that that most science educators that I saw (and I saw a lot) say to take it, not all but and overwhelmingly majority. One said that it could mess with the way the virus is spreading making it stay longer but was still saying the the vaccines were safe.

There have been some similar cases of my friends who have said that their relatives had fallen ill to Covid
And most of the time it was the relatives that didn't go and get their jab

My father actually just recently had Covid
And was taken to the hospital, but now after like a period of a week or two he had been released back home
He had his shot in July so he was doing somewhat good with the whole thing
However ....
As he was placed in the room with other Covid patients, he said that all of them were doing pretty bad and .... none of them were vaccinated
That's a big yikes
I keep shoving this into my mom's face, because she is an antivaxxer but like ......
She got her shot only because she was forced to, or otherwise she will lose her job.
Even though she's fine after her shot
She's still kicking back and saying that it shouldn't be forced and that it's unknown of what kind of side effects we will get years later

I mean, she is not wrong. We can't know for sure there won't be any side effects in some years. We also know that there's some bad side effect that can happen with some jabs especially if not well supervised. The reasons people can be scared or angry are there. Distrusting your government and health department and thinking they are doing this for the money isn't unfounded either, especially in the US. The thing that can be harder to recognize is that it's not your government or health department that recommends that people get vaccinated, it's the majority of health specialists in the world. That can be harder to grasp. All the people involved and all the tests and precautions. The amount of things that are extremely too complicated for us to understand, how many layers to that problem there is.

I personally think it's too complex for us to have the freedom of choice in that matter. It would be like asking your mom what type of material they could coat the suit of astronauts. The problem is that it touches us personally but the thing is we are nations. That thing doesn't care about frontier and who you are. You are not one person in a vacuum, if you are at risk you put others at risk that can then put others at risk, and so on and so forth.

I think that's mostly my pov on that. The moral, scientific and ethical point of view that I think I believe.
