I finally got around to uploading some Mica-related commissions, and that gave me a kick in the pants to update his ref sheet to match my newly discovered preferences.

Earlier this year, I went to a fur convention and had an amazing time dressing up as Mica and cosplaying Astolfo, but I struggled to identify with a lot of the LBGTQ+ merchandise for sale there. Being a feminine male is certainly gender non-conforming, but it doesn't fall under the transgender or nonbinary umbrellas, and applying the term bisexual to myself didn't feel right either. So I did some poking around and found some super validating information on lgbta.wikia.org

The first things I found that absolutely clicked for me were Rosboy and Femboygender. There weren't any flags or pins for sale at the fur con for those, but I really, really wish there had been, because I felt represented for the first time in a long time.

Also, it turns out I wasn't really as bisexual as I thought, but rather femmesexual. I'm attracted to femininity instead of specific gender(s). Traditionally feminine women, tomboys, femboys, and feminine-presenting Enbies are all examples of my preferences. And when it comes to men, my personal taste dips its toes in the "twink" range but no further. Some stereotypical twinks are too masculine for me, while the more feminine ones are totally my jam.

And something I feel is worth clarifying:
Trans women are women and trans men are men. Trans-ness and genitalia doesn't really figure into my attraction much. If someone wants to be feminine, they'll probably catch my eye ;)
