Thanks. No one should have to go in that way. What gets me is it was so quiet. I was literally in the next room. I did hear one loud thump that caused me to come out and that is when I ran into the kid. I had no idea at the time what he had done. So I did not have my phone or a weapon of any kind. I figured if she had someone over still that she was fine. So I went back to my computer. I just did not piece together all the odd things up to that point. Then in the morning I found her. Not to be self centered here, but that is no way to wake up. Just because of the blood everywhere I knew she was gone. Had I taken more than 3-4 more steps the night before I would have seen her and likely would have triggered the guy to attack me.

That is horrific and terrible beyond anything Harsh :( I'm so so sorry you've had to go through that :( *offers all the hugs possible*

I....I have no words. I cant believe this has happened to a friend. Im so so sorry. I will definitely donate when I get paid but please don't be afraid to reach out if you need anything. Even if its just a shoulder to lean on. Thinking of you and your family xx
