It's not the story that's the issue, it's just that I'd like to make stickers, plushies, and all that without having to worry about copyright issues

I see. Good luck, that's a notorious;y hard market to succeed in. I tried years ago with my own "original species" called Ferrens but gave up on it because nobody seemed to be interested.

I've seen it! The very start atleast, it's the same idea as pokemon (little elemental monsters) with a completely new cast of creatures Nintendo doesn't own. I really like the designs.
