Question for Twitter users?
Hey-o! If you have a second do you mind gracing me with some knowledge? :3 I'm wondering if it's worth it to post art to twitter? I would like to post my art on more sites. Don't want all my eggs in one basket kinda deal. But is twitter worth it? Do you have any tips for posting art there or finding other artists?
And lastly whats your account cuz I'll follow you uwu

It can be hard to gain a following/traction on Twitter, but I've met some commissioners and artists friends who dont have an FA through it. A lot of times, artists will do art shares for smaller accounts where you can post your work in the replies and they'll retweet it and you might get some more eyes! Also doing fanart and tagging that person who you did fanart for may result in a retweet to a bigger audience which is always nice. :)
But I've found using hashtags works,,most of the time.
And the #FurryArt tag is populated with great artists if you want to check it out.
And lastly Twitter users like free shit, so maybe host a raffle after a milestone cause I have seen people go from around 200 to 300 something in a day lol.
But I'll make sure to retweet as much possible.

I apologize if this comment is a mess btw, I'm bad at explaining things
Yeah it's worth it but it is a grind. I also agree with canadianKitten and would like to add that you need to keep in mind alot of people might not give you likes and retweets but they do bookmark!
I do this for my SFW account if I happen to find something nice but don't want it on that account.
personally, I maybe get half the likes I get currently from here on Twitter but when looking at the analytics per work I get alot more eyes lurking. So just keep in mind alot of people are super low key about the content they enjoy.
