Pricing & Length

-3¢ per word, or
-1000 words @ $30 USD
-2000 words @ $60 USD

-Any longer? Please ask, but I won’t be selling novel commissions!

Additional Fees

-Asking for large edits once the work is already started (eg. changing major plot points, changing characters, adding new scenes, changing setting) will incur additional fees
-Rush fees will be applied if the commission is on a short time limit -- please let me know ahead of time if it's a rush commission

Payment

-Payment via Paypal, payment in USD
-Upfront payment after it’s confirmed I can do your commission, I will send you an invoice.
-No payment plans
-There will be no refunds unless I am unable to complete the work
-Payment is not open for negotiation

Content & Process

-I will never write anything about underaged characters or minor-coded characters
-I won’t write about animal abuse
-If I am uncomfortable with something I reserve the right to decline the commission
-Two rounds of minor edits maximum will be available. Minor edits include things such as changing a name, adding more details to a particular part of the story or a description, adding some additional exposition (such as some background information about a character) into the story, etc. More than two rounds of minor edits or major edits will incur additional fees

Anonymity

-Upon your request, I will mark your story as commissioned by “anonymous” at no additional cost
-I can also change the names of the characters in the story when I post it on my account at no additional cost
-I can also make stories private, avoiding posting the story on my account upon the commissioner’s request, at a 30% markup of commission price

Copyright

-I maintain copyright of anything I write as the author. I am not selling copyright of my work.
-It’s OK for the person who commissioned the work to reupload it with credit and a link back to this account.
-Commissioners may not earn any money from the stories that I write, even if they commissioned them, unless otherwise agreed upon.
-I may put anything I write for sale in a bundle with other works, like how artists sell prints, unless it is a private story.
-I may post anything I write online as a form of advertisement, unless it is a private story.
