ADVICE TO ALL ARTISTS:

WHEN INVOICING A CLIENT, MAKE SURE YOU CLEARLY IDENTIFY WHAT THE INVOICE IS FOR.

I received a PayPal invoice this morning for a substantial sum.

I didn't recognize either the name or the email address associated with it, though both of them suggested someone in the furry community.

The Notes section was blank. There was nothing to indicate what I was being invoiced FOR, and I have received no other communications through any medium.

I have checked my notes and records going back two full years, and as far as I can tell, any and all commissions and YCHs I have ordered have been completed and paid.

In the interests of caution, I have canceled the invoice.

If this was YOUR invoice, please let me know what it is for! I don't want to leave an artist hanging, nor do I wish to lose art that I may have commissioned and forgot about.
