Going to try and open commissions.
Okay so I have debated this for a while and so this journal is to maybe announce that.
So first and foremost the payment method will be different from usual people. I do not like the idea of payment service sites like Paypal and others. So the only payment method I would be taking will be paid in terms of Nintendo eShop cards/games.
So to pay me for a commission you would either buy an eShop card and give me the code on the card, or you will get the download code of a Nintendo eShop game that is close to the price of the commission as a means of payment.
Now I am from the US so this MAY be limited to the US market. Keep that in mind if you are from another country so as to not create any issues with codes not being compatible with my US based Nintendo Switch.
If you are able to do drawing art-trades or story trades I ask that you opt to give someone else a chance who cannot provide art-trades of any sort. It's only fair.
You can either comment here in this journal if you are interested or send a note. I do have a Discord but I would rather not make that public, so I will only divulge that info in notes.
Now onto my rules and pricing.
_______________________________________________________________
1: Species do's and don't (not complete just basic) I am also more likely to draw certain animal species if it has a unique color palette as some natural colorations are boring to me. I am generally more into "colors of the rainbow" rather than greys and browns.
NO: Dogs, canines, foxes, wolves, horses, bears, monkeys, apes and most similar primates, horses and that includes MLP styled horses, pigs.
YES: Insects and arachnids, birds and general avians, dragons, lizards and general reptiles, some cats and felines, bats, sea creatures.
MAYBE: Raccoons, frogs, deer, giraffe, goats, humans, mice and rats.
Basically the best way to maximize me finding a character I am interested in drawing is give me multiple options. If you have only one particular character you want drawn and I don't like it a commission will likely not happen. So keep that in mind.
2: Please provide picture references of the following:
(1) A picture of the character you want drawn.
(2) A picture of the pose you want, unless you are okay with the basic posing I do.
(3) A picture(s) of the sizes you want since I obviously draw a massive range of sizes in regards to hyper. Saying "I want you to draw my character huge" is not going to help.
3: First come first serve. If I have discussed and finalized a commission with someone they will come first in who I do a commission for. I typically work at a pace of 1 picture a week, sometimes I may do 2, but since my main work days are Saturday and Sunday I do have time to work on images. But I usually just draw Tuesday and Thursday. Furthermore since I have to scan the images and the scanner is hooked up to my mother's computer I HAVE to wait for her to be out of the house to use it. So keep all of that in mind. At most I will likely take no more than 2-3 weeks to finish an image entirely.

All of my art starts on paper with pencil, so keep that in mind. I'd rather only draw one character. Muscular or complex character may change the price some so keep that in mind.

I am not asking for payment upfront. I think that wouldn't sit well with me. So for a sketch I would draw the image and expect payment upon showing the image.
For flat color I think I would prefer payment before I start inking as that is a little more of a serious step with art and I would rather not get a "dine and dash" kind of situation here.
Same thing for inked and shaded. Even if it's hard shading I do still try to make sure things look decent and I do also add in highlights. Though my art is simple I do art least put effort into making it look decent.

FA+

But yeah, this Nintendo eShop payment method works out well for me.
So if you can manage to find a site to do that for you a commission would be possible.
just 11 months late to the party on these being available apparently, might go for something soonish
I am certain you have seen me in Zanbon's server, so you can message me there if you like.
Go ahead and send a note with your idea(s) and we will see.
Especially since I don't take payment upfront there is no harm in discussing a commission. If I don't do it or am not interested there is no money being exchanged so nothing bad happens from me not doing the commission.
So if you are interested in discussing you are more than welcome to send a note.
