**RAWR!** Orange T-Rex has something to say!
Today marks the 1st year of me joining FA. There was a lot that happened. I started with uploading images that I traced, and then I learnt to draw from ground up. It wouldn't have been possible without my green rex pal
and more artists that I've met. Thank you so so much.
There were also a lot of cases of burnouts throughout the year. Some of them hit hard, while other were pretty easy to get over. However, the worst one is easily the one that I'm experiencing right now. One of the significant reasons is the fact that my progress has stopped, I got no new watchers here and of course, I haven't had any commissions for weeks now. Last one was in october. And before that, in september. I almost had nothing to draw for weeks now. At least I had time for some other stuff, but honestly, it's not ideal. There's also a case of me not having know-how of what to do. There are many options - YCH stuff, adoption, sketches, but I probably lack confidence and I'm afraid of starting and failing. Wouldn't be the 1st time. IDK if I can ever get over this barrier. Making first steps is always the most difficult part.
After 6 years, I stopped editing clips and focused solely on original art. I view that as a success. It's not like I have a lot of things to edit. I have edited almost everything that I wanted or could, especially from Meet the Robinsons and Ice Age 3. But every single piece took waaayyy too long to make, and I couldn't do anything with it. Arts don't make that much time to make and they actually help expand my creativity and learn so much stuff, even animating. The animation that is my profile here on FA? That was my first serious take on animation. I have made some animations before, but they were either not original, or very primitive. This one was made from ground up and I couldn't be more satisfied with it. But since then, I haven't made any.
I hope that for the next year, it will be much easier for me and that I'll progress in some ways. I was never a fan of asking for shoutouts or anything. I see it as a form of begging. But if anyone is willing to help me with getting some recognition (or watchers), it would be highly appreciated. Like, really. I can never forget the shoutout by
back in march. It was an incredible surprise and I can't be thankful enough for that, even if it was like 8 months ago.
IDK if my art and skills deserve any progress or watchers. I can't be critic of myself. So it's up to you to judge my art. Thank you. And I hope I can post something here soon.

I might have a way to get you some new watchers and maybe even a spark of motivation. Sending a note.
Your animated pfp is very lovely btw. I hope you keep doing thst ^^
I always post the commissions I get with a big shout-out to the artist, too, to try and drive my followers their way. That's part of why I commission in the first place: To not just make the artists and their characters happy but to give them good word of mouth and drive business their way, and give them encouragement and support however I can.
