Is it just this group being shut down or is the entire species being stopped?

I'm just hearing about this now so a little confused on the situation?

Just the group. There is the possibility that some artists will continue to make stardragons for purchase, but the MYO section is set to no longer accept new submissions at the end of 2022 and the community is shifting to member run rather than being overseen by anyone working on GemExchange.

AKA: The group is being put on ice. Any further stardragons that show up will be done via sales/customs/upgrades done by the creators or creativity crew. We plan to update the FA front page to list artists who are authorized designers of stardragons as the sales will be done on individual basis/terms.

Thank you that makes sense, one last question a star dragon I purchased from the previous owner I was going to do a small revamp, I have had permission from an admin of the Discord but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I saw some things being mentioned with MYO and a time limit to do them by, I just wanna make sure approved design revamps are not put on a time limit also?

Sadly we do have plans to close down the edit approval aspect as well in the coming months.(No sooner than the end of March but no later than the end of 2022) There is going to be a journal notice regarding the exact date and details in the near future, so we'll be giving people a heads up for how long edits/revamps can be done for under the current guidelines. After that, edits are going to be severely limited as to what a person can do.

Hurts my heart to see this go, since my first stardragon is what really got me into serious adoptables and closed species in general. I'm glad to have had her at my side all these years.
