Any motivation tips?

How did yall guys continue to draw if you realized that you were not getting it? When every failure overshadowed all your elevations. When you really want to learn, but the understanding that you can't repels you away.
How did you overcome such frustration if you had one?

The reason that I keep drawing dispite not being as skilled as others is because I look at drawing as a tool to make myself feel better and give myself freedom when I feel trapped in my life. I realized that if nobody in my school or family looked in my sketchbook, then I had the freedom to draw literally whatever I wanted, and at the time I didn’t think a freedom like that existed. I keep coming back to it because it’s a way that I can openly be angry and sad, and I have nobody in my life I can talk to about that stuff. It’s not limited to bad stuff either, you can literllay just draw the bare minimum of what makes you happy, without anyone putting a grade on it. I kept doodling low quality drawings like that for over a decade, and I’ve only recently started showing people work because I want to learn how other people saw art and what their styles meant to them. Don’t worry about making high quality drawings with deep complicated meanings, just draw what you like as best as you can comftorbly manage and enjoy the freedom of it. I hope this helps :)

Frustration is pretty natural when you fail, do not try suppress it - just do not let it overwhelm you.
