YARRG, There be Treasure Island!

Last weekend was the 1st & best music festival I've ever been to! I trekked up to San Francisco, forgot my ticket, bought another, spent even more money on a delicious dinner with
tann and
kamui and froze my ass off on this small island listening to some great music!
Let it be known, if you've never seen The Flaming Lips live, it is something you MUST do before you die!
Evidence for your approval:
* Crowd surfing in a giant, inflatable hamster ball: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLEtzjNtBUA&fmt=18#t=0m23s
* Crowd surfing furries: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzptVr0VRjU&fmt=18#t=2m26s
* Dancing chicks in skimpy flying squirrel and yetti outfits: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iT394exYjSU&fmt=18#t=1m05s
* Earth destroying gong: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpntQ8bXpeE&fmt=18#t=2m26s
Also, a lesser known, up-and-coming group performed with ridiculous amounts of cuteness: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHoNPeamL1k&fmt=18
Because you can't see how unbelievably cute the female compatriot is, here's the same song, albeit much stabler ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qb9jY8yAxgs&fmt=18#t=0m24s
Finally, San Francisco people are unsuspectingly nice. It was my first time figuring out mass transit and I swear to god I made like 6 friends out of random strangers traveling with me. Most everyone seemed friendly and happy to chitchat! What a beautiful, amazing city...

Violets and blood are red.
BOO! GET OUT!
:O :O :O :F
Dude, it was fun! :)
I don't know if you're being serious or if you're telling me to pick up your coffee again! D:
Color me envious. I missed seeing them a couple years back, on the Yoshimi tour, and haven't had a good chance since.
Some day, I'll do it! Just looks like too much fun to pass up.
There ya go, you got something to look forward to one day...
Say that to my face next time and I'll break you do you hear me.
Also I want more of those carnitas and there aren't any and I'm going to go ahead and blame that on you too.
Get mr. magic cook man baker to recreate that shit for you! His experience has to be good for SOMETHING besides haughtily snubbing his nose at things ;)
