Because why not?
I saw two of my friends do this sort of thing quite a bit a while back, and I am stealing this idea from them. It always seemed like a lot of fun when
MeganBryar and
GraceTheGoldenFurred did it.
So for those who haven't seen these before, you get to ask me or any of Inkwolf's other characters anything you like, naughty or nice, and we'll try to answer as best as we can. Questions can be anything, art related, personal, philosophical or just plain silly. This is pretty much just for fun and because I feel like talking to people today.

When was the moment you decided you wanted to start drawing? And when were you like "I can do the lewds with this"?
The moment I decided I would be committing to doing lewds was a couple months before I opened this profile, so sometime mid 2015. I had just dropped out of Uni when I was still studying biology, and I found myself both with a bit of a crisis of purpose and also a lot of spare time on my hands. I had also known I wanted to do a webcomic at that point, and had gone through a couple of failed attempts already. So I kind of just decided if I was ever gonna do it, I wouldn't be getting another opportunity for a big passion project like that again in my life anytime soon, and that kind of gave me the willpower to push through and put my energy into doing it right this time. The result of that were Le and her misadventures as you see them here today.
1. Of all the situations you've found yourself in, what's been your favourite? (And to Ink, what was your favourite to draw?)
2. What is the best kind of yarn? This one is very important!
As for Inks favorite to draw, that's another good question. If I had to choose, I'd say probably the first body control scene in Sand-Serpents Tomb, right when Le finds out the Statuette actually has inherent powers and it starts talking through her. But there are a lot of contenders that come really close too.
2. The christmassy kind with tinsel woven in. At least as far as the non-magic and non-hi-tech ones go.
Thanks! I'll pick some up, I've been meaning to indulge in my feline desire to make an ungodly mess with the stuff!
OOC: How did you decide upon a danger prone snow leopard Indiana Jones-ish sona?
As for how I decided to make Le the protagonist, there's a couple of reasons. When I started the comics I had just dropped out of Uni after failing my biology studies. But I came out of that with a great love and appreciation for the natural sciences, and I wanted to put the knowledge I had taken away from it to some use. Making the protagonist of my new comic a regular researcher though would make it a little harder to get her into trouble constantly, so making her a scientific journalist seemed like a good compromise between talking about science and having an excuse to get her into trouble a lot. And well, once you throw ancient ruins and archeology into the mix as well, drawing parallels to Indiana Jones just kind of becomes inevitable.
Oh, for real. XD That's definitely a guarantee to run into some tricky trap or sinister tribe! At least Le hasn't ended up in a big pot yet! ...has she?
(Oof, I forgot to hit Reply to this Post before commenting. XD)
Oh it sure is! And believe me, ancient jungle tribes have been considered more than once for a comic. Just didn't manage to ever make the cut just yet. And while Le hasn't yet been inside a pot during any of her on-screen appearances yet, I am sure she has seen a couple of those during her untold off-screen escapades.
I do like how you mix the sort of slice of life stuff (helping friends move is still normal stuff, regardless of spooky interactions!!!) and the explorer/tomb raider side of her life.
Aww, thank you so very much! It was actually one of my core design principles that Le was supposed to be a normal everyman (Well, apart from the constant abductions), so her adventures were something that could really happen to anybody if they were in the wrong place at the wrong time (and lacked any sense of awareness or self-preservation). So making the set up for her adventures something that's relatable to a lot of people helps with that.
Oh def. She doesn’t come off as like a superhero or a Chosen One. Anyone could stumble onto a psychotic puzzle demon or haunted mansion really (assuming you believe in the supernatural, which I do). Although she is a bit of an airhead but that just makes her a loveable yarn ball!! XD
What are your thoughts on being the eternal pet of a drolf wizard, that may or may not have any real effects to your person, but will often times become a bit of an annoyance due to various 'demands' that will be made of you, but you'll have the fun of doing it with a green pastel colored dragoness at your side?!? ovo
Do sign me up for the free 30 day trial though!
ignore the fact that there is no real way to unsubscribe before the trial finishes. Hope you have funnnnn ^^ slaps a collar around your neck that looks pretty much exactly like Em's, a few runes flashing upon it's application, before he goes running off, tugging the leash behind and dragging you with him.or is this just fantasy?
Unfortunately those two lines are about as much of the lyrics of that song as I know, so I can't even make a joke out of continuing it.
Mice have been raiding kitchens at night for as long as there have been kitchens for them to raid. However, I imagine the furry world changes certain things somewhat. How would Le react to finding a cute mouse girl rummaging in her cupboard?
At first she'd probably be perplexed. You don't really find people inside your cupboard all that much unless you yourself put them there first after all. But you know, Le has always been one who was intrigued by strange and unusual situations, so she'd probably try to find out why this mouse was here and what she needed. I mean, she probably has some reason for breaking in and rummaging for food, maybe she's just poor or hungry or lustful. Le would be more than happy to help out with either of those emergencies.
Le is such a sweetie, and it's nice to know she wouldn't just get mad, and would try to help the girl, even if she would like an explanation for her cheekiness, too! And any mouse girl would be very lucky to have Le's help with either of those problems, indeed!
Now where did I put that potion of murine transformation...?
Are there any situations you regret having escaped from, or wish you could get back into?
What's the longest you've been kept indisposed by such a situation? And are there any that you didn't think you were ever going to get out of?
And no. Thus far, my escape rate is 100%, and I don't see why that would be changing anytime soon.
Have there been any other "good volunteers" aside from Le? Or Snowflake, as you call her.
I tend to shift my appearance over time. As culture and the role of puzzles in it shifts, I too slowly change my appearance to match. I originally was a sphinx from a time when games and riddles first became a major cultural factor, but my garish colours were a change that came during the time when plastic and bold colours became a major part of board games all over the world. The hands themselves are a rather new change that happened to me, now that puzzles are also starting to move into electrical or even fully digital formats. I am certain it won't be the last change that will come over me.
Inkwolf:
Yeah, you caught me. I sort of have the bad habit of doing the visual design of a character first and then coming up with reasons for why they look the way they do later on. Or just never if I don't think that part of their backstories will be relevant for the stories I am telling. It's certainly not how you're supposed to create characters, but it's kind of how I often fall into doing it. Nevertheless, thanks a lot for the question. It's fun to explore your own characters some more like this.
The design-reason for the hands, by the way, is that I wanted a character with four arms, but since she was a taur already at that point, the design ended up looking too busy and confusing with all the joints all over the place. So the "Rayman-hands" were a way to still give her four "arms" without making the design too complex for a comic character.
OOC: don't worry about the method of designing her. She came out great and sometimes "reverse engineering" someone's story is a ton of fun as well :D
