Character: Melanie 'Mel' Sanders.
Favorite Color: Mel's signature color is always blue, she always wears a dark blue top and jeans for casual wear or a blue dress if she wants to be fancy but she honestly prefers wearing jeans or pants in general to wearing dresses or skirts, mainly because she doesn't feel comfortable wearing a dress with nothing underneath. She wears transformation proof clothing that cannot rip or tear no matter how big she grows.
Favorite Food: She eats a variety of food, usually healthy things but she has a sweet tooth, she loves Caramello bars in particular because of the koala mascot character.
Favorite Drink: Iced tea, eucalyptus-tea, water (both normal and fizzy) and coconut water.
Favorite Video Game: Disney's Magic Kingdoms, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, Mortal Kombat franchise (especially Mortal Kombat X, in case you're wondering she's a Kitana, Mileena, and Sonya main but also plays as Cassie Cage and Rambo and Shang Tsung), Tekken franchise, Resident Evil: Village, Dead by Daylight.
Favorite TV Show: Xena Warrior Princess (it's mentioned throughout that Mel has Xena as her muse and Xena is one of the characters that is her inspiration) and Hercules: Legendary Journeys, Batman: The Animated Series, Grimm, Agents of Shield, Power Rangers/just about any Saban superhero show, Big Wolf On Campus, Tales From The Crypt, Grizzly Tales For Gruesome Kids, Stranger Things, Twin Peaks, any of the Star Trek shows, Powerpuff Girls, Grim Adventures Of Billy and Mandy, a number of classic 80's sitcoms and 90's ones, The Simpsons and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Favorite Movie: Pick an 1980's or 1990's horror movie, any one...chances are she'll pick that one, but in case you have to ask, her favorite is Fright Night (1985) followed by Once Bitten, An American Werewolf In London, just to name a few. But Mel definitely gravitates towards ones with badass female characters like her, but it's also mentioned she loves Sylvester Stallone's movies but in particular Demolition Man. Even though she's a 'bad media slayer' she enjoys watching movies that are so bad they're enjoyable or movies that other people consider awful.
Favorite Music Genre: Classic rock, she's a big classic rock fanatic given her history of teaming up with rock bands, but she loves synth-wave in all forms and also loves scores and AOR (Album orientated rock).
Favorite Bands/Musicians: Michael Jackson, Cher, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, David Bowie, Stevie Nicks, Danny Elfman, and a number of bands but definitely The Rolling Stones.
Favorite Place: Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando, she also loves going to conventions including horror conventions.
Favorite Season: Summer.
Favorite Holiday: Halloween...this koala goes all out when it comes to halloween, right down to dressing up as a horror hostess, she is a master of cosplaying.
Favorite Animal: Koalas. Of course being a koala-girl, she is proud of the species she comes from and is all about helping out, she donates to charities and always remembers to give a helping hand on Save the Koala Month and helps to spread awareness and also of Koala Day which is on May 3rd.
Favorite Sports: Aerobics, martial arts, gymnastics. She loves to train and practice her fighting moves.
Favorite Restaurant: Planet Hollywood.
Favorite Book: Lots of movie making of books, Goosebumps, The Island Of Doctor Moreau, Stephen King's novels, Dune, and Scary Stories To Read In The Dark.
Favorite Actor/Actress: Sylvester Stallone. Sly is who she bases her action heroine persona on as well as Lt Toughpaw character who is based on John Rambo.
Personal Spirit Guide: Robin Williams.
Favorite Song: Too many to list but definitely Total Eclipse Of The Heart by Bonnie Tyler and/or Holding Out For A Hero.
Favorite Time Of Day: Mid-to-late-evening.
Her Hobby: While she is for the most part an actress, her favorite hobbies include singing (she is a theater koala after all, she and Eukie both love to do musical numbers, and being denied the right to do a musical number will make her sad), dancing, writing (she has her own blog), and also hosting her own review show Masked Marsupial Reviews and also her LivingDeadMel review show, and also hanging out with and training her Pokemon team (who all feature on her show), she writes and performs comedy songs too much like one of her heroes - Julie Brown.
