Stuff and...stuff.

...and now, talkin' time!
Well, after I wake up today, I will be getting my hair cut, so as to look more presentable to any potential lady friends who may be at Furloween. Yes, everyone, I am going; come hell or high water, seeing as this will be my first mainly furry event I ever go to!
Now for the(slightly) worrisome news: Lucille, my '94 Ford Explorer, has had minor engine trouble for the past month-and-a-half(specifically, a cracked piece of plastic somewhere in the air intake assembly, causing her to idle between 1~1.5 thousand rpm's), which doesen't bother me much while I'm around town, seeing as I generally stay within 10 miles of home. For the meet, however, I tried arranging for alternative transportation; mainly because I didn't want to be stuck all the way up in Orlando with a busted truck. Unfortunately, due to no fault of their own, the person I was talking with about pick-up arrangements will be unable to even go to the party! This means Lucille will have to get me there, because cab rates for a distance like that amount to highway robbery! I mean, I would rather walk(and if I'm very unlucky, I might just have to)!
Anyway, I'm taking it as my personal responsibility to represent the
metalfursunited contingent at the party, as well as find a whole bunch of new, awesome, and hopefully nearby folks to become friends(irl) with. Also; I hope to bump into
this dude, right here; see you there; right, bud?
That seems to be everything for now...oh, by the way; the reason Im typing this at frickin' 2:40am est: no clue; 'cept that since I've joined FA, my sleeping pattern's been wrecked worse than the gates of Minas Tirith after Grond had its way with 'em(love that book)!

As far as gaming; nothing big goes on around here, that I know of. NYC, or better yet, southern California is far better for that, or so I've heard.
About the reason for coming: Perhaps you could come to MegaCon? I myself have been attending for almost ten years straight, and the past two years were for the full three days!(parking gets expensive, though!)
Finally, about your replies: If you look at the bottom-right corner of someone's post, you will see a button labeled 'Reply to this post'. When you click on it, you will be immediately brought to the section where you can type up a response, and if the person is someone other than the submitter or journal writer, this is the only way that they will be notified by FA.
