The year ahead
As we all spiral invariably toward the new year, I want to take a moment to thank you all again for following me here! Without your support I wouldn't have had the drive to take the steps I have that have given me the confidence to make this announcement, so here goes.
SycoFox Studios is now a full-fledged LLC! Now the reason behind this was a desire to make a viable income so for myself so I didn't have to have a regular "day job" anymore, and I went about this by opting into an event to start up an online marketing business, however said online marketing was not my goal; my goal was to learn a skillset that would help further my own endeavours. And help it has! While I can't say that I've seen any financial gains, I have managed to secure an official licensed LLC for SFS, which means that now, if this does take off well enough, alongside my writing ventures, I will be able to leave the 9 to 5 and dedicate more time toward doing what I enjoy!
That's for you guys, you all helped me make that leap by showing me that I could actually provide some value to the world; thank you.
My next announcement is this: within the next two to three months, I will be gearing up to move about 1700 miles across country to begin a new life in Washington state, so around about the middle of January I'll be making an announcement--provided all goes well--that for a short time next year, commissions will be closed while I move. This closure will be from the time of the announcement until approximately the end of april as to allow me the time I need to pack, travel, and unpack. I may reopen sooner, but it will greatly depend on the timing and the circumstances surrounding the move itself. At present I'm still trying to secure the job that will afford me an income up there, but as soon as it goes through, I'll be on my way.
This job will not only be better paying, but will also allow me more time to focus on expanding the company, and the move will allow me more freedom to make this happen as well, so I look forward to seeing what the new year brings, and with any luck I'll be able to do more for you guys as a result!
Cheers, and thanks again!
Casey

That said, I do have an idea or two for projects for you, but for now I need to shelf them due to my current monetary situation.
(Truthfully it's been about 10 years since I last moved, so I'm trying to get ahead of the game... kinda working, kinda not ^^; )
I do look forward to hearing these ideas when you're ready to get them started!
