All Settled (Thankfully)
Hey all,
Well that was a hell of a lot easier than expected, I'm just slow moving...
So what happened? Well, in truth with the work I'm doing on my property to clean up more than a decade of neglect I've been insanely busy and largely unable to make any real headway on developing SFS as a business. I mean, I'm not making excuses; 11 years of accumulated dead/fallen trees, derelict buildings, severe overgrowth, and storm damage on five acres of land takes a long time to work through for just two people, so I've been busy o.o
Anyway, the reason I shut down the store for the last few months is due to the financial issues I'm trying to work through in ensuring my recurring bill load doesn't exceed 750$ (which is what I was able to get it down to before quitting my job two years ago) I found that one of the things I was losing money on hand over fist was the registered agent service I'm required by law to have in order to operate an LLC.
Over a number of calls, and a royal run-around by people who were supposed to know how to help, I was able to get the paperwork filled out and sent in to make myself the registered agent, saving around 350$ a year over the 3rd party service that I was going through. This was the last major waste that I had in terms of my monthly expenditures, so I should be in a much better situation moving forward.
In the interest of time, as I have more clean up to do today (since the weather's good) I'll keep this post short, but everything is settled, and I am open for new laser etching orders if/when they come in, and hopefully soon I'll have the time to start making/posting new stuff for y'all to see. Right now I can't guarantee that I will be able to post new stuff soon, but I definitely have a lot of chain mail jewelry made and ready to sell, and plenty of material and supplies for paintings (if I can ever get around to that.) Also, I recently hit the half way point in the manuscript for my first book, so as soon as I can afford to get the thing edited and get the art done for two versions of the book (there will be a special edition but I'm not giving away spoilers, there's still a very long way to go) I'll start plugging that here as well.
Anyway, everything's settled out now, and I should be back to business as usual,
Thanks for being patient!
