Reason for Inactivity
I noticed some have followed me like a year back and I hadn't seen it which means its been a year since I've been on. Why's that you might ask? The reason is I mainly am on things that give me easy access to everything.
If you havent noticed, posting anything on here requires a number of steps and the loading takes awhile sometimes. Not to mention you cant mass-load things. Unlike on Instagram or Twitter (although limited), you just upload a picture, include your description and tags, and upload. Its very quick and easy. Also finding things is quite simple there as well, going as far as to recommend things you may like based on your history.
Furaffinity and Deviant Art is much less so. It feels professional. Like it would when you put together your portfolio for collage. Which is fine for a more professional means but not when you just want to share your work and make friends.
Because of this im very rarely on Furaffinity and I've basically dropped DeviantArt. I only use it now to look at my old works, if I'm being honest. Not only that but no one I know uses these sites anymore to connect with others. Its just very inconvenient. Not to mention that the amount of active users here is much less than plenty of other social medias. In fact, most furry artists I follow don't even have an account here, and the few that do have long since abandoned it.
The biggest issue however is how lackluster business is here. The chances of people seeing my work is much worse than on Instagram, even though their daily users is much higher. Which is why I rarely post here. I do think there is still potential for me to find a business here, unlike DeviantArt, but I believe I'll need a form of fanbase in the furry community to go anywhere here. I find that my time is much better spent somewhere else than here.
If I suddenly get an increase in interest here in my work or find a community to talk to then I'll spend more time. But until then I'll be mostly ghosting this site. I'll still post when I remember.
See you around.
P.S if you wanna commission me for watercolor art feel free to im eating lunch at salvation army I need food money. My Photoshop and Wacom Tablet broke so I can only do traditional work for now.
