Hey folks! It’s been a while since my last journal, and with 2021 inexorably drawing to a close, I feel like the time has finally come for a little update on my end, just to outline a few plans and upcoming changes you can look forward to over the course of the next few weeks.
Commissions
I shall remain open for commissions as usual for the time being. Fortunately, my current art output is still compatible with my work and business schedule, and I will be trying trying to keep it that way for as long as I possibly can. Commissions are a great excuse for me to sink ever more time into doing something I love, so don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to grab some art!
That said, I have also decided to bump up my prices by a tiny bit later in January. I wouldn’t want this change to come off as too sudden or unexpected, so if you still wish to get something done for the old prices, feel free to hit me up. Otherwise, there’s also your mandatory reminder that Patreon followers at the highest tier get a 10% commission discount, which is going to be even more substantial once the new prices are officially in effect. Patreon
I am going to switch the currency used on my Patreon (which can be found OVER HERE) from USD to EUR after pledges for January have been processed, just to make my books and income statements a little less convoluted – I am nothing if not lazy when it comes to paperwork, and the fewer different coins and exchange rates I have to contend with, the better. This is an irreversible one-time change, so don’t worry about it becoming a regular thing. The shift is going to be fairly negligible for most of my patrons, but all of you who are affected by it are free to review and adjust their pledges at any time, of course.
I am also going to make polls into a monthly event again. I’ve been somewhat neglecting the online tip jar as of late, and the place would probably benefit from a little overhaul and more activity. Also, please note that patrons on the second and third tier have access to the ‘suggestion box’ channel on my Discord, which is still looking a little barren at the moment. Speaking of which…

I have decided to make my Discord server public for everybody who would like to join. Feel free to drop by and say hi, share art, discuss all manner of niche interest subjects and have fun! Just remember to be friendly and respectful - I have never had to swing the mighty ban hammer before, and I’d rather keep it that way. (>_O)

That should cover everything for the time being. 2021 has gone by way quicker than expected and will have been one hell of a ride all things considered, but I am still looking forward to what the new year will bring. As tacky and token as this may sound, I would once again like to thank all of you who have decided to follow my silly online antics, no matter whether you’ve been here from the very start or just joined in over the course of the last few weeks. I don’t know if I would be where I am now without the amazing amount of support I have received and keep receiving on an almost daily basis from what I must assume are people who genuinely enjoy my nonsense.
Also, as usual, feel free to get in touch if there are any questions, suggestions or things you’d like to discuss. That’s what DMs and comment sections are for, after all!
