The Future

so, one last commission to finish out the year. what's next?
well, first thing i should be up front about is the following - commissions are going on hiatus. why? simply put - i got a job. it's a part time job, but last time i attempted to both run commissions and have a part time job, i overwhelmed myself with a 10 slot queue, burned out, and had to cancel everything, so i'm wary of doing it again. now, i have considered maybe taking on less slots, to not freak myself out about it as badly as i did last time, but i'm a very low energy person and i know there's a decent chance i will feel worn out even with how few shifts i do (i'm an introvert, it's a bartending job at a heavy metal bar...). either way, slots are going on hiatus for at least a month, while i figure out how i feel about it and whether i can handle that situation.
this does not necessarily mean the total end of my writing however, even if i decide not to go back to commissions. me and my boyfriends have been working on a more longform project that's mostly in planning stages at the moment. doing commissions has meant i haven't really been able to dedicate time to that, and i really want to start putting some proper effort into it in the new year. it's...not really a TFy thing, to be honest, so if you were hoping for more of that you'll probably be disappointed. but it is furry in nature.
either way i'm still gonna be posting on here - the extra income will mean i can probably start getting more commissions for myself, so if you like the weird shit i like to TF myself into specifically well...next year should be pretty good for that, hopefully!
have a happy new year everyone, and sincerely thank you to everyone who's commissioned me. you've helped me survive a period of my life that i would otherwise be doing really badly in, and it makes me happy to know my work has an audience that enjoys it.

Your content is a gift. You do not need to apologize. I have also felt the burnout, and it stinks. As a fan, I want you to take care of your own self. I look forward to whatever more you show us in the future.

I'm still hoping to commission you in the future, when you open up again!
